I curious as what you guys think of the sixth round draft pick. I think it was a great pick getting him and he got the making to be a starter on the team for a while.

Think he is decent but think this team can upgrade. Solid depth. Can come in and start if needed.

I thought he played really well given his starting point. In another thread, it was noted that we all expect Prescott to improve in his second year, so why not Brown.

I don't think we've drafted a better DB this late with this much value since since Scandrick. I like his size, and maybe more important his confidence and instincts. If I was a betting man(which I'm not)...I think he can start in this league, after learning a tiny bit more, imo he's on the verge of being a very good, versitle, physical CB.

I agree. I'm quite high on Brown's potential as well. Can we do better? Perhaps, but it would probably take a high draft pick or a high dollar free agent. I'd feel fine if we went into 2017 with Brown penciled in as a starting corner.

Thought he was impressive when called upon.

Would like some competition for him this offseason but think he can handle playing full time in the nickel/dime formations.

Brown had a number of impressive showings in my opinion. I think his man coverage was stronger overall than his zone. If he develops a true comfort zone for himself, I believe he'll break on receiver routes quicker and increase his chances of making plays on passes. He has good ball and receiver awareness already. Brown can improve his stock with the coaches this offseason and training camp if he can pick up the ball a few ticks quicker.

For a sixth round CB who was thrust into the starting lineup I think he played very well. He had that one play that looked ugly but again...6th round rookie. I like the kid, I hope he can improve over this off-season. We're likely going to lose either Carr or Claiborne this off-season so we need someone to step up and at least provide some depth at the position.

He better start trusting his technique and be careful not to get lost looking back at the QB too often. That's why he looked silly on the DeSean Jackson play and why Steve Smith made him look like a rookie in the Baltimore game. The kid has some game to him and he should improve as he sees situations more often, but my guess is he's at best Brandon Carr. Which would be great for a sixth-round pick.

I like brown. Still need to see more. Next year he will not be a 6th round pick or a rookie so it's time to prove he can continue to play well.

I'm one who believes players can improve, I think this is a big off season for him as he gets ready for the upcoming season. I think too often fans look at what you do as a young player and feel that is as good as he will get. Myself I think with experience and hard work a player is capable of improving his game.

Uh, he IS a rookie. A 16-year veteran making a rookie look like a rookie. No?!?!?

Why is it time for him to prove he can continue to play well? Is it time for Dak and Zeke to prove they can continue to play well?
