I recently had some strong, black dutch beer that was nice...great flavour and strong for beer. Bombay Gin is 47% but goes down smooth.

It damn sure does. You should check to see if 99 Bananas is local. 99 proof and tastes like candy. Those banana candies. Not overly sweet, but sweet enough with the lovely, smooth, burn of that booze.
