per twitter supposedly Cowboys closing in on mccourty. I can't post the link for some reason.

Anyone got any information on his performance last season?

Played in 15 games with minor injuries all season (only played 4 games in '15). Was solid, but not "special" by any means. He's not the burner he once was, but has good veteran savvy and takes calculated risks. Like anyone else, he needs the Cowboys to put a little pressure on the QB or he will get beat frequently. Good and willing tackler. Will join gang tackles.

This is a solid signing for the Cowboys.

I'm not sure the rumors of him signing w Dallas are even true

I have no idea who these guys are or how legit they are, I'm just pasting the tweets that seem to be generating the rumor buzz for those that don't have Twitter.

Lol fans posting bout possible signings because they saw a article oh should cowboy be looking at him...A signing like this makes no sense. And he hasn't really been healthy in 2 yrs.

I'd say he's a lil better than what Carr is. But haven't signed him yet

You have to wonder if he is still a FA while Carr got signed if he is any kind of upgrade or even a lat move

Played in 14 games and accumulated 69 tackles, 13 passes defended, and 2 ints.
He's actually better than most of the cbs that we have had around here.

Let's compare that to :
Orlando Scadricks best season (2013) 64 tackles, 12 passes defended and 2 ints

Former cowboys secondary coach Brett Maxie was his coach in Tenn plus he played for Ray horton. So if Dallas wanted honest opinions on him I am sure they could get it very easily from these two coaches who garrett and the organization know well.
