He's not gonna beat out Beasley. He might get slot reps once Beasley is gone. They reached for a punt returner.

He will get snaps. Especially when we go empty, imo. Great punt returner and route runner.

Let me preface this by saying that I LOVE the player. Switzer leaves jocks on the field every game that he plays. He's lightning quick in and out of his cuts, and gets open all the time. His run after the catch ability and instincts are really good. He has been a terrific kick returner, and is a gritty, competitive kid. I think he goes higher if he's 5'10", but he's not. He will be a very good contributor in Dallas, and if they run double slots with him and Cole Beasley, it will be a deadly combination.

That being said, I wanted Carlos Watkins badly, and think that the Cowboys should have taken him. The pass rush with him and Maliek Collins on the field, or even with Watkins and Tyrone Crawford would provide a lot of push up the middle, and aid the ends in collapsing the pocket.

Seems like he should immediately contribute as a ST return man and could compete for snaps at WR, or at least be a legit backup for Beasley's role.

I can dig on that, especially after going D the first 3 picks.

The more weapons for Dak the better. I say this because he consistently seems inclined to go to the open guy vs forcing the ball to our "stars". We can burn D's with these types of shifty, versatile pass catchers.

The role is worth a 4th round pick.
And he's not just Beasley. He's a far better punt returner. So essentially a better Beasley (coming out).
