Not a fan of this pick with King, Woods and even Butt on the board.

They seem to have an obsession with finding that Dunbar/Lucky replacement.

Don't get this pick at all. First three were great.

Cool pick.

Thought he would go later, but I like the player

Well they were bound to make a pick like this at some point. Big reach for a player who likely won't see any snaps on offense.
He was the #1 WR at UNC for Tribisky, so I he's got a shot to get more offensive snaps than Lucky.

Special teams help and replacement for Lucky (punt returner). Also another slot receiver weapon for Dak. We can always trade up in the 5th if they like a player.

He ran a 4.0 shuttle. In comparison, Beasley ran a 4.40.

His quickness is elite and he will make people miss.

He is not as strong and explosive as Beasley though so will be a 3rd down and ST player is my guess. Beasley struggles to run block, Switzer is likely to get blown away.

Trying to upgrade punt returns.

I think there are bigger implications. We can cut/trade Beasley after this season to save 3.25m against the cap. Either way, Beasley only has two years left on his deal.

Team is thinking long term, especially considering they are shopping Scandrick and didn't borrow money from Dez's deal.

I remember I wrote something about him wayyyy in the beginning of the offseason. They call them Power 5, top 5 or something conferences/teams. He had some of the best production in the country against them.

I also remember he was just a player. Small white guys are always compared to Welker but this guy is legit. He also returned 7 punts for TD's.

I think he had 4 TD on punt returns called back as well.

This is how NE won a super bowl... Edelman, White, Amendola underneath, 5 yards at a time. If you're opposing LBs, how do you defend Bease, Switzer, and Zeke in the middle of the field?
for this to work you need great route runners who can get open in a flash,Beasley can do it and so can Switzer.

When you still have needs at DB and two decent ones are still there I don't agree with taking a special teams weapon in the 4th.

Questionable pick at that spot IMO.

If they are shopping Scandrick they should have been thinking DB in the 4th too.

With King and Woods on the board, I just don't like the pick at all.

They obviously like Heath, Frazier, Blanton in the mix for SS. As I said, we can trade into the 5th round if needed. Or take a safety in the 6th. ABrown was a 6th round pick last year. So the scouts do their homework.
