Nice pick. This proves my point that if -- Adoree Jackson was there at 28, we would have gone that way. Still would've picked up another db but possibly gone another route with our 3rd and 4th. Regardless, draft fell this way and we get our Dunbar/Lucky replacement/Beasley backup. Add to the fact that our DB situation seems stacked!

I like these little guys...I'm a small guy 5' 10" 202lbs. Only thing is that 202lbs is not chiseled anymore...lol:laugh: anyway, I have another "Little buddy" to pull for.

No, that does not really prove anything about Adoree. Starters are rarely returners. A 1st round pick's return ability has little if any bearing on his draft status/

This is how NE won a super bowl... Edelman, White, Amendola underneath, 5 yards at a time. If you're opposing LBs, how do you defend Bease, Switzer, and Zeke in the middle of the field?

Excellent point.

Yes he was. He can play any spot at receiver and is not just a slot guy

I remember I wrote something about him wayyyy in the beginning of the offseason. They call them Power 5, top 5 or something conferences/teams. He had some of the best production in the country against them.

I also remember he was just a player. Small white guys are always compared to Welker but this guy is legit. He also returned 7 punts for TD's.

We had Dez do some returns his rookie year and we're not afraid of letting our star players (e.g. Sanders) take that return role either. If we draft Chidobe or Jourdan with our next pick, our DB situation would still be stacked. All hindsight but makes great sense

I don't see any reason to hate on this pick.

Seems like he should immediately contribute as a ST return man and could compete for snaps at WR, or at least be a legit backup for Beasley's role.

I can dig on that, especially after going D the first 3 picks.

The more weapons for Dak the better. I say this because he consistently seems inclined to go to the open guy vs forcing the ball to our "stars". We can burn D's with these types of shifty, versatile pass catchers.

The more this kid plays, the more the team is going to feel compelled to find ways to get the ball in his hands.

Trust me on this one, look at my pic. I am extremely familiar with this guy. I am so ecstatic that he is a Cowboy. The guy is a play maker not only as a receiver, but on special teams as well. He is always a threat to take it to the house when he touches it. He will be better than Beasley, Mark my words!
He has awesome hands and catches damn near everything. I'm so stoked!

I'm a 'Canes fan. Beasley is awesome.

But I concur. This is a head turning athlete and plays much larger than his size. 4 wide with Switzer and Beasley. Good luck with that... seriously.

8. to tie with Welker for career NCAA lead.. thus the comparison in this case:)
Prolly helps that they were both 5'8" former high school running backs that are tough and quick but no super fast or tackle breakers.
