You guys talking snakes!
It was the weirdest thing happened just today, me and one of those 23 y.o. kids had just finished crack- sealing a asphalt driveway and were going to seal coat it, two other of the half brothers pulled up(apparently their momma took on all comers:lmao:) and about a 4' snake had tried to cross the driveway and got stuck length wise in a seam I'd just done, that rubber is better than 400° when laid down, that snake was pink colored/cooked,,, horrible way to die, then there was 2 lizards and a horny toad looking thing(it had a big long tail ) stuck within two feet of each other on another seam,, they all prolly died within seconds and you can't help but feel bad for them,,,
Ouch!

gonna have to ask your advice on my driveway sometime. I have a 600 by 12 foot concrete driveway, starting to get a couple of cracks after 15 years. I want to seal it with something before moisture makes it any worse. I'll pick your brain later, have a great weekend bro.

Que pasa, amigo? Nice day in the Valley, today.

Might make trip there next weekend, all depends on la wifa's plans.

Nice here too, started it out with 5 mile jog/walk. It won't be long before the heat takes over.

2 bucks for a brew is incredibly cheap!!! That's awesome, brother.

A 7 foot rattler. Must have been an Eastern Diamond. Those suckers get huge, and I think they may extend to Texas. Prairie rattlers are small (do you guys even have those so far south?), maybe a Timber?

Ask Haley, I love my snakes!!! :D All animals.
2 bucks for a beer is robbery!! Here in the Cantinas its 75 cents...thats too much...in the grocery store an ice cold beer is about 55 cents.
Trouty...some shinging day when l learn how to post pictures here l will send pics of snakes and other critters that live around here...haha...do you like Tarantulas...there are millions of them here...l used to keep a few but the bride would flush them down the toilet!! So, l stopped. Had a young Boa in the house a few weeks ago!! Killed a Lance about a year ago...

That's a huge diamondback! I just read Texas doesn't have the Eastern. So if they are that large, it's the Western. We have those out here. Beautiful snakes.

You guys are lucky, you have coral snakes, a sub species of the cobra. Beautiful species.
Trouty, l have killed many coral snakes...they come up the rivers and adapt to the mountains...luckily, they are easy to see...there is another non poisonous snake, very similiar to the coral...called the king snake...ran over one yesterday!! There is a saying...red on black won't attack...but red on yellow can kill a fellow!! King snakes are gorgeous also.

Morning Haley. Enjoy the chorizo con huevos. Good stuff.

Very familiar with that saying, Boxer!!! We have King snakes out here. So beautiful. No corals, tho :(

We have a nasty pit viper called a Mohave Green. It's a subspecies of the Western Diamondback. Most venomous snake in NA. Dropped a woman and killed her last year (or maybe the year before) in the mountains about 20 miles from here.

And YES! Love tarantulas, Boxer :)

And good morning to all you wonderful Beer Thread'ers!!!!!

Salud! :D
