Quincy McDuffie is still fast

He's a capable receiver... I see him as a legitimate threat to have a good camp, and really force some difficult decisions at receiver. As said in another thread recently, talent has never been the issue. He's another one for whom staying healthy has been the issue his entire career.
 
I imagine it made McDuffie just a bit unsettled to think about having to compete with Switzer for a return gig. If not, he probably should be.

McDuffie was born in Orlando, Florida[11] to Quincy Howard and Vonetta Burch.[2] He has a younger brother, Alton Howard, who played receiver, running back and defensive back in his junior year at Edgewater High School and College ball for the Tennessee Volunteers.[12] McDuffie is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 178 pounds. His major is general studies, with minors in coaching and hospitality management.[2]
 
Don't need a kick return specialist when the League has pretty much removed that aspect of the game with touchbacks

Switzer has vision and good speed (4.5).

McDuffie has vision and better speed (4.4).

Pun intended... slow down... not saying Switzer's roster spot on the 53 man is vulnerable, but I will say he's not a lock... and I will say that it's not out of the question that they both have fabulous training camps and surprise... McDuffie is more like a DeSean Jackson type receiver than he is a Cole Beasley type.

I think that is the intention of the practice/taxi squad, only they can be plucked by other teams.

Only problem is that is it looks great from our point of view, but every team in the league would be able to do it too.

We probably wouldn't have Irving right now if everyone could keep 60.

Based on what? Are you a big Canadian football fan or something? McDuffie never even caught 50 balls in college. Switzer is a lock over McDuffie. Maybe he can give Butler a run for his roster spot, but I doubt that because McDuffie doesn't have the size to play outside. The Switzer pick dashed his hopes for a spot in Dallas.
