Schefter on potential discipline for Elliott

Came across this.posting the link for anyone who wants to listen. Pretty much schefter is saying how he'd be hesitant to draft Elliot today because of what he is hearing. Hearing there could be discipline from some people and hearing the opposite from others.

I just don't understand why this is taking so long, especially over something that occurred before he was even in the league. Seems like we'll find out if Trump colluded with Russia, where jimmy hoffas body is, and if aliens exist by the time this gets resolved smh

If they wait till late in the season and suspend him while Cowboys are making a push fir playoffs. I will never watch football again.

After the last 2 playoff FIASCOS. I have been very hesitant to love this game the way I once did.

If this turns into a Circus I am done.

I am tired of being held hostage by a league that loves to punish this organization for no other reason but to play with the EMOTIONS OF THE " BIGGEST FAN BASE" in the league

Definitely agree. I try not to go with the whole conspiracy theory of the league, specifically Mara, being against us, but crap like this just makes me think its true. Just seems like they are digging up stuff or trying to wait until elliot does something else so they can punish him.

The Mara conspiracy posts for me are mostly fun and get "insta-liked." They're tradition here and with many other fanbases (you'd be surprised ).

I put very little stock in them, personally, but never blame someone for believing in the notion.

Now refs that grew up hating the Cowboys and calling plays specifically against us, that happens, imo.

Its all for ratings. I follow sports for the idea of fair competition. But to the NFL its all about the money.

Just think of the ratings if they take Elliott out of the equastion .

All eyes would be on Dak and all week they will sell advertising On the NFL CHANNEL

As everyone else in the league gloats at the Cowboys misfortune. While Cowboy Nation suffers waiting desperately

If I were Jerry Jones and the league actually did try to suspend Elliott at this point, I would pull the ultimate **** you move to this obviously corrupt league.

I would pull my team.

As relatiation against this obvious farce, I'd pull the whole team. Don't show up. Let 'em play with 31. Go figure it out Roger! Make it work! Satisfy your networks without your most popular franchise bringing in eyes and ratings. Get "America" to watch football without "America's Team" playing in it.

Enough is enough already, and if the league ever tries to go after this kid based on nothing at all in an attempted witch hunt to make up for all of their other screw-ups on the issue, I would fight it with every tool at my disposal, up to and including pulling my team out of games. Games which would be nothing more than a farce at that point.

And I'd make sure to tell the league exactly what I would do ahead of time.

He says he talked to some who said he may get disciplined and has talked to others who said there would not be any discipline. That tells me he does not know but it is a slow time of year and got to report something. Either way he can claim he was right. lol
