Thomas Randolph, a convicted double murderer and Dallas Cowboys fan from Las Vegas, showed up to his sentencing hearing Friday wearing a Tony Romo jersey.

"Since I've been 12, I've been a Cowboys fan," the 62-year-old said from his holding cell, according to David Ferrara of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. "It gives me comfort, even in here."

Mr. Randolph's son wore a Dallas Cowboys tie.

Since it is the first time I hear about this case ,just wondering what was Mr Randolph 's defense in the case?did he confess?

No. He had a trial. Found guilty and know the jury is in the sentincing phase. He hired a dude to kill his wife and then killed the dude. Prosecution said it was greed......insurance money. Killed his second wife as well.......got away with that one, barely.

He said he's gonna try one appeal. If that doesn't work he wants to die. We'll see......

I hold garrett responsible. The evil Ginger has mind control over more than just this team.

If what I've read about this guy is true, I hope they just skip the appeal part........
Agreed. He gets one even if he doesn't want it. He's what they refer to as a volunteer. We'll see....... he'll wuss out when they set the date and it draws nearer. Very few actually volunteer but there have been a few.

Gary Gilmore comes to mind.
Yep....some just will not live in basically solitary confinement for 12+ years, on average, so they drop all appeals. Except for the mandatory appeal.

Some LWOP convicts can't kill themselves so they commit murder in prison and let " the state" kill them.....Robert Pruett for example. Got 99 years at 15 years old. Tried as an adult so he went to prison. Not juvy. Killed a guard cause he doesn't want to spend the rest of his life in prison.

So you saying he is toast now

Well, people around him keep waking up dead.

He's had 6 wives. In 1998, after wife #2 died, he was acquitted of murder but was found guilty of trying to hire someone to kill the star witness for the prosecution.

From an online article:

"Randolph made Tarantino rehearse different ways to make her death look like an accident or a suicide: setting fire to the couple’s trailer, a car crash, rolling over her with a car at a campsite, a hunting accident, pushing her into a raging river, switching her medications, knocking her out with chloroform and arranging the scene to appear as though she fell in the bathtub."

After all of this, her death was determined to be a suicide. o_O

When wife #6 died, he was able to kill her murderer with a hammer.

The prosecution thinks the hammeree was his hitman. Hey, why not save money the old fashioned way? Eliminate the middleman.

In that case maybe the number 9 jersey he is wearing is a reference to 9 lives
