Abe, I know that your dislike of me runs deep but your patronizing tone doesn't make you right. Trading for an upgrade at DE is not a fantasy. Just because you are unable to contemplate it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I love when guys around here say we need to go out and get a ball hawking free safety and a pass rusher.....like they are just out there and available lol. Like other teams wouldn't keep them lol.

I'm a fan, as such I have absolutely no influence with the front office to effect any of those things. I think those of you that concern yourself with such details at this point in the season have too much time on your hands and/or think too highly of your own opinions.

Moore is not a concern what so ever because he will never have a meaningful snap this season. Dak is invincible... I know, by saying that I'm daring fate.

I'll be at Frisco ready to take notes when the last part of Training Camp is held there next month. That's when some of these question will be in my mind. Until then I'm not going to concern myself with the minutia of this team unless I hear Zeke has been suspended or Dak breaks a leg.

I understand but memories are tricky things. Chandler Jones was traded in 2016, so was Barkevious Mingo. Jamie Collins was traded in 2017, so was Kony Ealy. Sheldon Richards was on the trade block in 2016 and right before draft in 2017.

Not saying we will luck out with another Charles Haley, but that happened because Cowboys were as trade happy as the Pats are now, always looking for talent and former 1st rounders/pro bowlers. Many fans here are the anti-Jimmy/Belichick, content to do nothing.

It was never about the "if's" you have the power. It was mostly about how you just dang feel about the situation? The front office is real...this is more about the "Where are we now and what would you do crowd". I'm well aware we are just along for the ride.

1) Sign another LB like Orr/Washington
2) Trade for a legit pass rushing threat, or 2

I do think adding an lb is a possibility, but pass rusher is low unless someone gets cut from a 53 man roster. I do believe if someone is made available before the trade deadline and Dallas hanst been successful in getting more pressure they pull the trigger... We will see..

You consider those guys to be good pass rushers? Chandler Jones i'll give you. I honestly forgot Pats gave him away.......

I have no problem with them doing it or looking for help from other teams.....I just think you have to be careful in wishing for it. Teams just simply aren't going to give up on good players.Even in Chandler Jones the Pats didn't want to pay him which is why he got dealt. They considered him replaceable.

And I don't know if I recall the Cowboys ever being trade him when they were contending. IF there's a Charles Haley out there to trade for then let's go get him.

Really... no. A Wikipedia page lists him as 19 but DC.com, NFL.com and the Brugler draft guide all list him as 21. He played three seasons at Ohio State, so if he is really 19 he enrolled at OSU when he was 16.
