I guess I could check what my hunting buddy/ licensed hunting guide bro recommends as he'd know,
It some kinda aluminum heavy duty outfit,,, mines some kinda igloo casing-liner with wheels and a pull out handle with a couple of beer holder cut outs in the lid

Yeti, but RTIC gives them a real good run for their money at half the price. I keep two 65 quart coolers mounted to my catraft and they've always been Igloo marine. I replaced 1 two years ago with a Yeti which has been great. I replaced my second Igloo this year with the RTIC and have been using it all summer. I'm running both coolers side by side on my raft and I don't notice much difference in ice retention or quality. I've got a Pelican 50 quart as well but use it mainly as a dry box/gear hauler. The Pelicans fall between Yeti and RTIC on price, but have the most features. They have the best handles and latches of the group and include drink holders, bottle opener, and a measuring strip along the lid. They're all big heavy coolers and I wouldn't bother buying one if you're using anything below a 45 quart. Smaller coolers you're better off just getting an Igloo marine or a Coleman.

I have a Yeti. It's about 5 ft long, constructed very well. I can put ice in and if properly shut, the Ice lasts a good 4 days in temps of 90 degrees plus. It was not cheap but it is well worth it IMO. If you use dry ice, it will last much longer.

Yeti is not worth the extra money for what you get. RTIC is the way to go if you want to spend some money. If it is important that you keep something cold for an extended period with outside heat at 90+ then RTIC. Otherwise coleman or igloo will do the job.

who makes the best cooler? Yeti?
My wife has spoiled me with Yeti. She bought me a 65 quart cooler, a Hopper and countless tankards. I had a couple of them monogrammed with my ranches name. Looks sharp. There are a few others that are just as good without the Yeti name and a little less money. RTIC and Pelican come to mind.

Would you buy your wife a Rolex or a Folex, some Oakleys or some Foakleys. Spend the extra few bucks if you can afford it.
