It's actually how long and how loud the Dog is willing to bark, for no apparent reason, at nobody at all. I have two little Douchsunds, they are actually my Wife's and Youngest Daughter's dogs. They are actually Sisters from the same liter. Don't get me wrong, they are really cute little dogs and I have grown attached to them but man, they bark at anything. It's crazy. Eventually, they get anything if they just shut up!

I've apparently been trained.

Some of us actually need a high quality cooler. It was 102 degrees down here yesterday and over 115 factoring in humidity. I live on a ranch and have another place on the beach, both places get very hot and making sure my beer is ice cold is priceless. Salud! I can carry that sucker in the back of my truck for a couple of days and not worry about running out of ice.

I think there are people, perhaps like yourself, who legitimately need the additional performance of that type of cooler. There are a number of people where I live that use them while fishing. I guess they need them because they're going to be out all day or for several days.

But its just like anything else these days: There's a whole 'nother bunch who think its cool (pun intended) to look like they have a bunch of money to pay for the "best of" something. Just like softball bats, fishing rods, shotguns, and whole range of things. You're right. Different strokes for different folks. But for most people, lets just call it what it is: "Keeping up with the Joneses"

This. Folks who don't really venture out of populated areas don't understand the importance of this. There is no grocery store, no 7-11 or gas station around the corner. What you pack in is all you got and ice don't last in even low heat index days. That's why you pay IMO.
