Where they are messing up is putting themselves above the justice system.

If these guys aren't in any legal trouble then why suspend them?

I got a feeling that if they suspend Zeke then they are going to end up regretting it because they are going to get hit back with not punishing other players who did knucklehead things that didn't warrant a suspension.

If Zeke is truly innocent he should take it to court. Sure he won't win. If Brady couldn't win he won't. But it will be one more blackeye at the NFL and Goodell. They are turning off so many fans with this making up as they go along brand of justice.
 
Zeke's mom needs to to change twitter image until I clicked on it I thought it was a panty shot.
 
Its very clear Jerry and Zeke are not going to take this lying down. If they claim they have evidence the police do not then they are legally obliged to turn it in to them.

Bottom line is they are going to say they believe the twit and that is going to blow up on them since the accounts her saying she would ruin his career and her asking friends to lie about it will be big in what both Jerry and Zeke say.

This bit about destroying evidence also is very fishy.

the only thing that could be deleted is what is on the phones memory chip. Pictures or something like that.

Yea I don't know what their problem is. I remember when it came out. I haven't heard it since though except on here. The police must not have found her credible. The investigation didn't last that long.

And if the police dropped the case, It be interesting if the NFL Police is able to get a warrant for those text. I would love it for the courts to say " were not wasting our resources for something so stupid"
 
Pure and utter speculation. There are journalistic standards for reporting rumors, but you have to have journalistic standards to begin with.

And ESPN will still wonder why their ratings plummet and their brand image is dreadful. Oh wait, they'll just blame it on racism.

The NFL knew they'd run with the story. That's why they leaked it. Probably wants to see how the wind takes it.
 
I fully expect him to be suspended for four games have thought all along that this was the case the cowboys with the youth on defense will have lots of trouble winning any of these games
