People turning on Dak after week 2?

Lol
The eagles are every bit as good

Their front seven is legit and will give our OL fits if they don't get better.

But their secondary is pretty weak, especially at CB as long as Darby is out. Then again, if the game plan calls for and Dak just starts dinking and dunking, we'll struggle to move the ball on them even with that bad group of CBs.

I agree with you only difference IMO is Romo sat for longer so he had some time to develop unlike Dak.

Dak is never really going to develop the gun or deep ball Romo has... that being said, he's very smart and poised. Not a knock on him per say, Romo was just one of the greats who ended up surrounded by garbage..

Yes, you are not turning on Dak by offering valid criticism of his play today.

It was not just him, the entire offense was terrible overall.

Dak forced the ball to Dez, is still throwing too high at times and overall had a poor day.

Yes, the Denver defense had a lot to do with it by taking away the run game, pass rush and sound secondary play.

QBs this Denver team has made look bad in recent years:

Tom Brady
Aaron Rodgers
Ben Roethlisberger
Marcus Mariota
Derek Carr
Philip Rivers
Russell Wilson
Matthew Stafford
Matt Ryan
Drew Brees
Cam Newton

And now... Dak Prescott
In Brady's last 3 games in Denver (all in the last two seasons) his passer rating is 73.2

Their LBs are absolutely great and Jenkins in a stud
They will stop the run and make Dak beat them

I've said consistently, let's see what Dak does his sophomore year before anointing him

The guy needs to go downfield

It's bizarre that there is this weird disturbance in our offense when it comes to Dez and Dak. You'd think a guy like Dez would be a real security blanket for Prescott but those two can't seem to get on the same page week after week.

Lol, are you kidding? I guess you never watched Romo play in 06-07 or any of the other years he blew it with more than enough talent surrounding him.

Hicks is a stud. The other LBs are OK. Both Bradham and Kendrick can be exploited in the passing game. But if you aren't going to test them, then what's the point?

You are right and they also do not know how to use Zeke in the passing game.

Cowboys fans are some of the more fickle fans in the league. I just try to look at it objectively.

Did Dak suck today? Mostly, yeah. Does he usually suck? No. Was this his worst game ever? Probably. Will he suck next week too? Probably not.

That's the way the news goes.

He blew 2006? He saved the disastrous season. Bradie James got lit up by Jon Kitna.

2007? You mean Crayton dropping a wide open pass and Jacques Reeves getting abused?

Dak looked bad today and he looked just ok last week so it's easy to hit the panic button. However when you remember these have both been top 5 defenses it's easier to see what went wrong. He was pressured and hit all game and the offense as a whole looked slow and out of sync.

The people "turning on" him now probably never liked him to begin with. It's just that now they think they have ammo.

This is very true. The whole team had a bad game today and it happens and as fans we have to understand that it happens, that losing today isnt the end of the season, or that Dak is a bust. That being said in general they got to clean up the play and do better against Arizona, Denver was a tough team just have to learn from what happend today

With Wade Phillips as D.C. He's no longer D.C and we are in game 2 of this season..

Dak didn't look great in game 1 either.

Very tough place to play for any QB.

Except for maybe Rivers. For some reason I'm thinking hes not been terrible there.
May be wrong though.

No...I mean going to Cabo instead of focusing on the upcoming game against the Giants. Ladies were more important to him than winning football games.

What does that have to do with your claim of being surrounded by talent?

Is it his fault Jason Garrett didn't have him in game planning and Jerry forced it from on top in 2013?

Defense still looks frisky as ever.

And before Wade they didn't look as "frisky as ever"..

Like I said, we are on game 2 of the season and even when given the chance, Dak doesn't look crisp. He's sailing passes high.
