Everybody has been waiting for dak and zeke to lose.

Dallas losing and then creating side stories out of it drives ratings and makes money. Its nothing new.

On local radio this morning George dunham said zeke should be sat down and suspended because its best for him.

all because he didn't chase a guy 30 yards away on an int. I would like to see him hustle more on that play but the fact that this is this issue being created after a Dallas loss is funny.

Notice how nobody talks at all about GB getting blown out in Atlanta the team they couldn't beat to get to the superbowl after spending a lot of draft resources on their defense for that specific reason.

See, that's where some of you are missing the bigger point. It's not one play. That play is just the most noticeable and recognizable instance where Elliott showed a lack of maturity. According to some in the media, he was also pouting/indifferent on the sidelines which raised some questions. Now throw in the fact that he has had way too many off the field issues in the course of a year or two. And now allegations that he might be a bit out of shape.

That's not a pretty picture for a guy that basically is one of the players the entire franchise is banking their success on.

I don't know about a team suspension as that seems like overkill, but clearly Elliott needs to have a strong message driven home to him and quickly.

The fat picture floating around is from last season. Where everyone thought he was one of the best players in the league.

Anyone have a link to this fat pic?

I do think he definitely looks a touch heavier than last season, but not to the degree that it's anything worth worrying about at this point.

Can Garrett drive home that message? That's the question

.

Is this true? I havent read anything confirming this. The only media person I saw say this was L Tomlinson who then did an interview and retracted everything he said about the sidelines.

I don't know that he is overweight it was just one picture from that angle. The team would fine him if he was overweight. I am sure they still check everyones weight and not just when they report to camp.

as far as reporters saying he was pouting, I put about zero into caring. I only follow Todd Archer of the local reporters but I have seen nothing of this at the stadium. I know from history turning nothing into a big something is the M.O. especially after losses so I am not worried.

Quitting or not caring would be zeke not blocking because he didn't get enough carries or dogging it when he has the ball. I haven't seen any of that at any point. If they get blown out this week and he is pouting or complains that is a different story for not the reporters who probably were in the stadium and watching the tv broadcast anyway means nothing to me.

the off the field issues are real and as fans we can only hope he gets it straightened out.

It's Wednesday, lets move on to the Cardinals. He pouted while the team was getting spanked. OK, I get it. He had off the field issues when we drafted him. We still drafted him. Why, cause he can play football. Let's let him play football.

Suddenly Harris was 30 yards away?

Next week you'll be telling us Zeke was on a fly route and Dak fumbled in the backfield.

Also, for weeks and certainly since the Giants game people have been saying it looks like Zeke lacks burst. Then the visual evidence comes out. It's striking.

But this is an "all of a sudden" narrative?

So what if it is. There are a lot of players that do that. They just aren't pasted on ESPN every other minute. It's not really a big deal, I'd rather see him pout during a butt kicking than acting indifferent, eating a Hot Dog

He didn't look like he lacked burst to me against the giants and sunday he had zero daylight to run to.

wasn't the int about 30 yards away? How far was it? Like I said I would like to see more hustle on that play but I am not getting worked up over it in anyway.

I bet the guy comes out and plays a monster game sunday.

Who cares what bias people say? People pout all the time on the sidelines I'm guessing when things aren't going well. Also people in general are too flipping wish washy. One day it's players too happy when a team is losing, next day it's why they looking so down when losing. Get out of here with that junk. He doesn't have waaay too many anything some of y'all are just haters and jealous period. The only issue that is a real problem is the DV if that can be proven to be true. Everything else is just some people looking for reasons to be superior to someone else in being a better person. All this trouble please.

As far as being out of shape I can see how some would say that compared to last year but he isn't walking around like fat B or anything. He still did his thing against NY and if you disagree list the plays where this alleged out of shape business held him back. He don't need a strong message unless he committed DV the rest please

i'm not saying the guy doesn't need to mature on and especially off the field. but media will spin it any which way they want to make a story and headline. dez goes to fire up his team, he's always a hot head and immature because he screams on the sideline even though you don't know what he's saying. zeke doesn't do it and he is indifferent and doesn't care about his team because they are losing.
