His personality was never head coach worthy.

He can coach defense, and that is what got him his head coaching record he is so proud of.

It is tough for a head coach to keep his pet unit on point. He did so for a while.

A lot more than Garrett has done with many more data points.

I'm talking on a personal level, I got to know him when he was head coach, Bum introduced us. We spent a couple of hours talking HS football over a few beers.
