He's a good QB, but he ain't no Romo, and certainly not the second coming like most thought, just being honest.

I don't think Dak is playing much different than last year. However, the oline execution isn't as good and defenses are sitting on routes.

This. ^^^^

Coaching and defensive personnel is the issue folks. We should have blown this team out today.

We still don't value the middle of the field on defense. Heath makes too many bad plays for a safety. Poor D-Law was doubled and tripled all game long and Goff had a lot of time to throw.

And once the Rams saw they could use Austin on some jet sweeps and change of direction plays, Marinelli had no answer for it. It's one of the things I fear about this team...particularly on defense....if things work well in the first half and the opponent adjusts after halftime, we aren't stopping anything because we cannot re-adjust.

I'm wondering how does a Goff not seem like a bust when their numbers were virtually identical, with Dak throwing 3 TDs. The difference was that their defense was a tad better than ours.
Goff - 21-36 256 - 2TD
Dak - 20-36 252 - 3TD INT ON A SACK.

Other than him being hit while throwing, their numbers were identical.

I am starting to feel the same. Stack the box and make Dak beat you is an effective strategy.
Coaching staff had to know this was coming.....I did. Therefore get much more creative. Stevie Wonder is calling out the plays before they happen with this team.

Every single knock on Dak right now are the very same things people would say about Romo when he didn't play well. Just like almost every time Dak makes a great play, it's outside the pocket on a busted play--exactly like Romo. Dak is still learning, but he's proven he can make the throws and win. The issue is this **** show, 100 year old offense and the coaching staff.
I watched Romo his entire career. He may have held the ball too long or tried to fit it into too small a window, but he NEVER sailed passes 10 feet over the heads of wide open receivers. Cowboys offense was top 10 for most of the last 10 years. That's a bad excuse. Dak is young and learning. I hope he gets better.

3 passing TDs from Dak is a great afternoon. Looks like he’s par for the course.

What did he do in the second half? You know, when we blew the lead and needed him to lead our team down for a game winning TD

......

Dak played great today.

Issue was O-line, terrible play calling, and the terrible head coach that we have.

It also didn't help that MArinelli did exactly what I and a number of people on here said he would do- Rush3 or 4, play coverage.

Goff picked it apart.
Marinelli biggest fault can be traced back to draft day. We have crap players on defense. We need to stay away from the head cases and drug addicts.

We got a first down - Williams drop meant nothing. He missed throws to Dez, and honestly, you expect an all out blitz in that situation. The O-Line was far from awful with the pressure that was coming.

Stop pretending our O-Line needs to be playing at some elite level on every play just to excuse poor play by Dak.
I get it the QB guides his team to 30 points but loses, and it's his fault.
