I hear you and on paper, yes, but any given Sunday.

Cowboys remaining:
@ Wash
KC
@ Atlanta
Phily
LAC
Wash
@ NYG
@ Oak
SEA
@ Phily

We could make a run and like last season, the Eagles stumble. New Years Eve could make for an interesting day!
realistic i think it could go like this:

@ Wash - w

KC - L

@ Atlanta - L

Phily - w

LAC - w

Wash - w

@ NYG - w

@ Oak - w

SEA - l

@ Phily -l

W - 9
L - 7

Good post.

This is where Jimmy Johnson excelled. He would roll the dice more against equal or superior opponents. Look at what he did against the 11-0 Commanders in 1991, and what he did in ordering Turner to throw to win the game against the 49ers in the 1992 NFC Championship Game. Onside kicks, Hail Mary passes, going for it on 4th down. Johnson did it as much to alter the psychology of the teams involved - show his team that he believes in both sides of the ball to execute, and to show the opposition that he will pull out all the stops to win.

And special teams. The Cowboys have never been better on special teams than they were under Jimmy Johnson. He would call for all out punt blocks, onside kicks, and his teams would execute them.
He coached without fear, and his teams played that way.
Boy, I miss those days. :(

I take that as a no.

Beasely had a guy lined up tight at the line of scrimmage, then there was another guy lined up 4 yards behind that. Dez was man up with nobody over the top.

Now that you have seen the coverage take the trouble to push 'play' and see how things actually unfold

Beas was free underneath and was a MUCH easier and safer throw

If you're saying that Romo decided presnap and inappropriately locked in in Bryant then you would be correct

You don't read a defense with a monitor pushing play after the fact to see what they did. The first read was to Dez. If he comes off that and looks to the 2nd read...he's sacked and there is no throw at all.

So the QB predetermines where he will go and locks on to his first read and there are no other options ?

Secondly you have no way of knowing what his "first read" was unless you have the playbook

lol
That is exactly why I said "just stop it''
