Google Deion Sanders / Tony Romo .........see reactions outside Cowboy nation. Still a lot hate out there for Romo...........
Deion needs to get mad at the doctor that gave him those botox injections, don't take it out on Tony.

There is a whole lot of stupidity in the world. That is not going to change anytime soon.Google Deion Sanders / Tony Romo .........see reactions outside Cowboy nation. Still a lot hate out there for Romo...........
Who cares? Tony's not running for office.Google Deion Sanders / Tony Romo .........see reactions outside Cowboy nation. Still a lot hate out there for Romo...........
Deion comes off as small, immature, and butt-hurt here (not surprising). It was a damn joke made in passing, completely harmless. And Romo was spot on too, for the record.
Maybe Prime should be more focused about getting his refund from the people who performed his Botox injections and hair-transplant than what Romo did in his career. Starting to look the dude from Star Trek these days smh.

I never really liked Deion much. Maybe just a little bit more than T.O.I used to love Deion. He's the reason i chose #21 in sports.
Then, I grew up. The guy is a sleaze, and the way he openly aired out his divorce and child custody situation on social media is about as juvenile as it gets. The guy is a *****.
Maybe all true, but I don't know what these comments have to do with what he said about Romo. Just like I don't know what Deion's gold jacket has to do with the subject matter. If Romo was a HOFer, would his comment/joke be OK then? I would love to hear Deion's answer to that.I am a big Romo fan. He carried some awful teams in Dallas. There were 8-8 years that would have been 4-12 with 90% of the QBs in the league at the time. But we can all be Romo fans without downgrading Deion Sanders. Players like Deion, TO, Ray Lewis etc...they are always lighting rods because of a "personality" thing. But do NOT get it twisted. These were GREAT GREAT players. The 90s Cowboys were full of guys that many NFL fans disliked because of a "personality" thing...but the truth was....they were disliked because they were GREAT...and they won...and they were cocky. Jimmy Johnson was held in the same disdain as well. So lets not get so defensive about Romo because it came out the mouth of Deion. Deion was 1 of the top 3 people to EVER play CB...and was probably a top 5 PR as well. This is greatness folks. You can dislike his personality....but make no mistake...he was GREAT. And I would welcome with open arms a top 3 talent on my team....any day.
Some are working the angle that broadcasting etiquette mandates Romo not take a dig at Sanders while making an irrefutable correlation between Peters' effort during the tackle, occurring in an actual game Romo was analyzing and Sanders efforts during his career. Digs (or non-digs according to an individual's perspective) have been happening during game broadcasts since before the NFL/AFL merger. The other main engine of dissatisfaction is driven from the belief that valid points of view can only be stated from 'earned authority'. Factual accuracy be damned.Maybe all true, but I don't know what these comments have to do with what he said about Romo. Yup, a lot of people are sympathetic to Deion...he is the victim in all this. Poor Deion!Google Deion Sanders / Tony Romo .........see reactions outside Cowboy nation. Still a lot hate out there for Romo...........
ignoredThose are horrible career numbers for both of them and Troy broke his leg at OKLA and it is why he left
Troy was not a mobile QB
Ignore the facts all you wantignored
I've already explained myself ad nauseum. Go back and read my posts. I have no desire to continue to repeat myself. Why? Sanders was a notorious non-tackler - if Sanders didn't want the references made decades later, he should have tackled which is what defensive players are supposed to do.
He didn't, and that's a mark on his otherwise stellar resume.
It would have also helped Sanders if he didn't coin the "Business decision" phrase in context of the NFL and repeat that when he's watching highlights. He made that phrase because that's how he played the game - he helps make himself known for that.
For as great as he was in coverage, he was as selfish and soft as a player. He deserved to be knocked for it and so does Peters.
Did Deion say somewhere that Romo lied about him? Some are working the angle that broadcasting etiquette mandates Romo not take a dig at Sanders while making an irrefutable correlation between Peters' effort during the tackle, occurring in an actual game Romo was analyzing and Sanders efforts during his career. I would also like to hear Sanders state and explain why Romo lied about him but I doubt that will ever happen. Why lie when a hissy fit will suffice AND be endorsed by anyone self-shielded by the earned authority mandate?
I was responding to everyone taking shots at Deion as if he was not a flat out top 3 player at his position all time. Does not mean Romo can't criticize him. But lets not act like Deion was trash JUST because he said something about Romo. I personally think this fanbase has been lulled into valuing a whole lot besides winning....because frankly...we have not won since the days of Deion. And again...a lot of those Cowboys were hated then and now by non Cowboys fans. Why? Because they won..and they let you know about it. Just because we don't win anymore...is no reason for us to get sensitive about someone picking on former Cowboys who did not come CLOSE to winning.Maybe all true, but I don't know what these comments have to do with what he said about Romo.
