Game Day ***Cowboys vs Falcons post game thread***

Honestly though, I would rather lose like this because it exposes the real weaknesses and forces coaches to adjust with respect to them.

Ouch.

No Zeke, no running game
No Tyron, no passing game
No Danny Boy, "doink"
No Sean, no ability to play defense as a team

Sing with me: "Clap on (clap-clap) clap off (clap-clap). Clap on, clap off, we're suckers"

You forgot one very important person off your list.

I am so disappointed. Is it too much to ask for this team to show up and put up a fight? Losing on the road without some of your key players is not totally unexpected, but we didn't fight today. The O-line did not block for the pass or the run. When the run worked on one drive, we totally abandoned it when we got close to the goal line. The defense cannot play because one guy leaves? It makes no sense for Sean Lee to be that important. The defense played like holy hell today. I'm looking for a positive. I can't think of one.

So, you think other QB’s could’ve done better with Green at LT. Ok.
There is one but he plays for the Eagles. I have heard from this board he is the best ever to play. He probably could have blocked Clayborn, throw the ball and catch it for a TD

Zeke is the smallest factor of an absence in this loss.
True. This game illustrated what happens when proper run blocking adjustments are made (WITH Green). Morris began running the ball more effectively. It is unfortunate that the coaching staff got away from the now effective run game just as quickly.

I want to know about Lee and Tyron. Anybody else can not make the game but it's clear we are a different team without those 2 guys....... Mostly due to coaching

Did anyone think Green would be that bad? I'm trying to not overreact but if Tyron isn't back, Forget it. The defense is not the same without Lee and this is 2 games in this season where the Cowboys had no shot of winning the game. This is turning out to be a pretty disappointing season.

Am I crazy, or did we start Rod Smith?

T. Smith more important than Zeke? Today he might have been.
Easily.

What's so bad is that the LT play was so horrible it negates an otherwise decent performance by the rest of our offensive line.
Vic Beasley, easily their best pass rusher was pretty much shut down.
