I can't think of anything that's more insulting as a competitor, in any competition, at any level, than your opponent boasting that they made you "quit". Absolutely amazing.

I watch and read alot (too much) about football, not just the Cowboys. I don't think there is any team that gets more trash talk thrown at them than Dallas. I guess its part of being America's team.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you, my friend. I guess I just have to endure the pain and frustration, however, because I can't see myself rooting for another team. But they break my heart over and over again.

Most teams become inept without their QB, especially a star QB.

To become non-competitive when missing non-QBs is unacceptable beyond belief and is a dozen eggs on the face of Jason Garrett. He wears this failure 100%.

Once Wade was fired mid-season for the same reason ..

I remember. But I wasn't excited because I knew Garrett was going to be the coach and hated it because he either sabotaged Wade or was a crappy coach who was apart of the losing streak

This is why I get detached over time from pro sports. Yes, they want to win but once the season ends, they go on vacation with their fat bank accounts. The owners are wealthy beyond comprehension. It's no huge deal if they don't win.

It's us peasants who get the most worked up about these teams and players.
