LoL,COPY THAT,JACK!
so,you keep a 12 ga. pretty handy along with that smith .357 for the 'varmints'? or are they only of concern if the wife raises a ruckus about them?
I'm gonna score me a bottle of bushmills tomorrow when I visit 'total wine' just on yer' behalf(along with a half gallon of beam more than likely, that bulleit bourbon is some pretty good swilling swhiskey too, but it's like $12-15 more per half gallon jug,,,o_O
You gotta get some bulleit sometime, Mel. Great whiskey for the price! It’s worth the extra few bucks if you have it lying around, brother! :star::starspin:

Ha!! I think @Trouty sips that bulleit whisky at times. I see that here..think l will invest in one soon. I don't have a 12 ga. presently.Firearms are hard to get here and the permit is expensive! The house is about 20 miles from the farm..there are workers that live on the farm and steal..l mean..look after the chickens and a few pigs. They vittle most of them.:).

You’ll love it, brother!!

Have a 12 gauge 870 Remmington pump its tits bro.:starspin:
Yeah. I owned a lot of shotguns when l lived in the north.
I'd put together a rem 870 one time with the riot barrel, choate fn-fal style pistol grip shoulder stock & extended mag tube, and started quail hunting with it(I'd cut a length of saguaro cactus rib to legally block the mag tube capacity) it would feather them pretty regular on singles and doubles but when I'd get 3 or more on the rise/flush,,,I'd go gonzo mode and cant the angle of that trombone action (being left handed mind you) for the sake of speed and usually the 3rd round on tap was starting to jam up,cuz' I was ham fisting that pistol grip with angeling the ejection port on about a 45° angle by the time I was drawing a bead on flushing bird#3 and that was just enough to flop the shell out of chambering alignment,,, well, fellers,,,,,, it didn't take me very long to figure out that if I'm stressing on killing 3 birds and causing self induced shooter error, if I'd ever been forced to fire up a herd of two legged chi-com casing-liner's and the hard and fast score was fer' keeps, that wasn't gonna cut it with this cat daddy,,,so I put together a rem 1100 with the exact same casing-liner's installed& have never looked back,,,sinceo_O

Trouty dried out a little!?! That could bring down the California booze economy!! :muttley:Yeah, as an expat...l had to start a company in order to buy the S&W. Its not so easy. I would need another permit to buy a scattergun. Its 400 bucks a yr per firearm for the permits. Lots of people keep unregistered weapons here but its costly if you get caught. Maximum 18 months in the slam.
:omg:,,,that's a pretty expensive annual hit for an aficionado of my pedigree,,, reckon it's a give-n-take the "free" world around,,,huh?o_O

Well, l think the gov. makes it expensive to keep the handguns out of the criminals hands?? Yeah, its too expensive. I still might pick up a shotgun...plenty of pheasant that need shooting and eating!!

Oh, I'm well aware that, the slight problem is that somewhere in the back of my mind,I know it's gonna end up as an m-t glass bottle (sooner rather than later ,anymore it seems) and I can't 'regularly' justify the added expense, ,,that $5-6 price difference for jack Daniels as compared to Jim Beam has stuck with me since I'd turned 21 broo_O

GD.Your late coming in and l need to get some rest. Tomorrow!!
Copy!
*yawn* I ought to chow on this couple day old Sonoran style hot dog I've had stashed on the back of the couch, pop in a decent DVD and call it good for the day myselfo_O
