This a message board.......not a good message board

If you don't like the critiques stop coming here......it works both ways

No... .you and others will not go into threads and crap on them.

Also if you don't feel that this is a good message board... Find a good one and spare us your analysis of this one.

Too many people on here enjoy a topic but someone ways has to come in and try to ruin it instead of just leaving it be.

I hate Nascar, used to find my way into those threads and make snide comments. It was stupid and childish. The people that liked that were entitled to a thread of their own without people coming in to crap in. So I let them be in their threads.

I understand having to kill off a character. I think they could have found a better way to do it then what they just showed.

However if they are going to do it like they showed...they should have made it more plausible.

One thing I was noticing during all the houses and cars exploding and gun shots going off was the lack of walkers around.

Then you see 4-5 of them total and Michonne kills one of those.

So with all the guns going off, two explosions that almost take the guy out...it turns out it was a bite by one of the few zombies in the whole area that gets him while he is still aware enough to avoid gun shots and explosions and also falling off a ladder to avoid Negan.

Another funny thing I have noticed all along.

Anytime Negan (sp?) comes to the gate.
Why not have a few small holes along the wall where someone can just put a rifle muzzle through and shoot the fool. Sure they don't want his people running into the town afterwards but in the end if you kill him, it will be better for all. He always comes out and gives his..hey I am the bad guy speech while all it takes is one shot.

I don't think it was this attack that resulted in Carl's bite.

I think it was prior. And that's what resulted in the letters and the introspection.

Might have even been in the tussle when he brought back the new character and they tussled with a small group of zombies... The filming of that sequence was odd and after it concluded it left me puzzled on why they seemed to film some of the sequence of Carl dealing with two zombies the way they did.

That would explain him saying that he would be willing to die and throwing Negan for a bit of a loop.
But after that it looked like he did it just to buy time and let the others get out.
Been more interesting if he would have continued that line of action with Negan.

Agreed.

I liked the direction that was going.

The whole season was a huge waste of time

AMC has milked their golden goose for every ounce and it cost them big time

That finale was terrrrrrriiiibbbbbbllllle

Fans should boycott.......if only Rick would take a knee

I think the problem is the viewers and their expectations.

It is very rare that you get a week to week, bang-bang/action Jackson season from any show.

This show is clearly built for long haul.
As is life, ups and down and lulls in action etc.

I watch it because I am a fan of the story they want to tell.

If you just start the episode with, “I better be pleased”... it won’t work,

Best thing for people not into the show anymore is.... not to watch. Find another show.

I walked away from THE BLACKLIST last year. I don’t continue to watch simply so I can say it sucked.

Ding Ding Ding.

Have walked away from a good number of shows over the years.
Have stuck with a few I should have walked away from but I knew they only had one more season so I just stuck with it.

Also contrary to what some believe...we do allow criticism of the show in here...I just criticized it and many others have over the seasons.

What we don't want is someone to come in here and poop on the thread by talking about boycotting the show...if you want to do that, good for you, don't waste your time continuing to talk about how bad it is in a fan thread of it. However when you really step over the line is when you talk about how this board isn't any good...if that is the case, find another board all together. Nobody is making you post here.

However for the most part this is a seasonal thread we continue to start for fans of the show who watch it, even with the bad warts, and continue to watch it.

And at the end of the day I think people still forget that this is a story about zombies that originates from a comic book. They are not going to always get shakespeare and award winning writing, acting or theater.

Yep. Exactly.

Plus after 8 years any show is going to start getting a little long in the tooth.

King Ezekiel finally might have earned his Crown.

He was all in on the leadership role and idea when things were going well.

Sometimes it takes bad things to happen and dire straits before a man can truly shine. Or...play sultans of swing.

I don't think most people are watching it just to say it sucks.

I for one have been watching, hoping it would get back on track but after this season I am probably done.

Just isn't working for me any longer.

Can I ask?
What is “back on track?”

His kingdom got slaughtered.
They piled up on top of him to save him.

I know it’s just a figure of speech. “Finally might have earned his crown”... but... he earned it when he got those people to believe and follow him.

Now... I do believe he will try and hold rick accountable for his slaughter.

He got those people killed with his arrogance.

That was the whole story line IMO.

He kept saying ...Not one in our ranks killed a couple of times...it was just a matter of time until almost everyone did get killed.

And he had to live with that and he was not doing a good job of it.

He wanted to quit his people, he wanted to be stuck back in the room by himself and not be bothered by anyone or anything anymore.

But he changed his mind and came out of it ready to do what he must do to truly be a king.

But that is just my opinion.
