Win or lose, Garrett returns next year. I think it would be safe to assume, however, Marinelli is gone as DC. His defenses do not generate enough turnovers.
I’m in your camp on this one.

I would be utterly shocked if Marinelli is back.

I do believe Linehan comes back for the short term. Dak will eventually cost him his job after next season.

Isn't Zeke going to be back from Cabo? Man. Talk about sticking it Goodell's eye. He's like, Ok, suspend me. I'll just vacation in Cabo. And make sure its plastered in every media outlet in the nation. LOL!!!! If only he had worn a Goodell T-Shirt in every pic. That would have been epic.

Cowboys blow out Seattle. Not worried.

I see no scenario where he comes back unless it's to coach the d-line. His scheme just does not do a good job of creating turnovers. True, they lack overall talent, but he can scheme to put them in better unpredictable situations. This defense is still not good enough to stop great play from the QB position.

As for Lineman, he needs to do a better job of helping his QB or he will be gone as well. I think he will make modifications to his offense, especially if nothing changes with his personnel.

If Philly beats Oak then they are the number 1 seed so they may rest some of their starters for us. Even if MN is 13-3 as well they are #2. That can't hurt us unless they play it st8 up then we are underdogs.

I actually see Seattle as being a relatively easy win, they are spinning out of ctrl and their defense has been decimated. Not the a Seattle of old as the Rams just rolled them good.
all the more reason to worry. Decimated or not that team has a lot of pride over what they have become over the last decade.

NFLN just said the loser of the Seattle - Dallas game is eliminated from the playoffs.

I have not checked to see if this is true or not. But it seems like it may be so.

So does this put Garrett on the hot seat...

A lose and out game, win and stay alive game...yes the last 3ga,es have been that way...but now it is down to the nut crunching time as there is no room for error. As all the other teams been winning as well.
Room for error? About the width of an envelope.

Call on every able body and play to win.

Huh? Team was 14th in the NFL in turnovers--despite long absences from Hitch, Irving, Lee, Awuzie and a needing to rely on a host of rookies or virtual rookies (Jaylon).

Near the top of the league in sacks too. Marinelli isn't going anywhere unless he retires on his own.
