Nick Foles has more 4TD passing games in 2017 than Dak has in his entire career

Hey is there a bat signal for birds fans to show up on a Cowboys board to defend Wentz? Wonder why they were not here last year? You know when Wentz was chucking INTs and fumbling? Why not show up them to defend him? Oh right because they are a front runners. Got it.

c'mon, you KNOW that is Risenstar's other account in here, right?

with the slop that the eagles have in the backfield, they have to throw

You stole my thunder. SO WHAT! WHO CARES! Who has more rushing TD’s Dak or Wentz? Statistics are easily manipulated.

Thats silly bro.

What is silly is people showing here, Cowboyszone, this year, to defend Wentz. Where were they last year? Wentz did not play well when Johnson was suspended. Philly's run game was not very good. The WRs were not that good. Wentz was not that good.

Every Philly fan was absolutely thrilled how he played last year.

I agree many were but not every fan. There were many discussions if Dallas got the better QB

He had flashes of absolute brilliance last year.

Sure he did. You would expect that from the 2nd overall pick.

We knew he was going to be special.

Actually you still do not know. This is not a knock on Wentz. IMO it is still too early to really know anything with a certainty he will be special. What do you and everyone know right now? Give Wentz the necessary protection and weapons and he can rip a defense apart. Many QBs can do that.

You will know Wentz is special when he truly leads the team from dire situations. Again this is not a knock but it is something he has not done yet.

Youre right. Maybe it is pathetic for Eagle fans to come to a Cowboy board to defend Wentz...

Only because they were not here last year. Makes Philly fan look like a front runner.

but what is even MORE pathetic is a few Dallas fans saying all Wentz has is good escapability, he is over hyped, and has terrible footwork. The kid is a complete superstar. I know it. You know it. The entire football nation knows it.

1. He is overhyped. Not overrated. Huge difference. I'm sure you get what I am saying when it comes to Dallas players. Overhyped but not overrated.
2. You hope he becomes a Superstar QB. I have high standards and rarely if ever describe any player as that. That is reserved for the truly elite players that define themselves in the regular and postseason. Wentz has not done that. There is not any player in Dallas that I'd describe as a Superstar either.

Come on man. Wentz is a flat out superstar and does not have terrible footwork. He is in his 2nd year and had almost ZERO experience in college. He is still growing and 100% does throw the ball high at times and needs to fine tune parts of his game. Even with those flaws he needs to perfect he was going to win MVP. He is an incredible player and a flat out superstar. Dont be ridiculous.
He was talking about Dak, not Wentz.

Unfortunately, more Dallas fans here talk bad about cowboys players than they do about any giants, Commanders, or eagles players.

I’ve always thought Foles was a good QB. That’s why I thought it was really dumb for Philadelphia to trade so much away to draft a QB in Wentz. When in my opinion they already had one.

I thought then and I still believe part of the reason they traded up for Wentz was to keep Dallas from drafting a QB. And they knew Dallas loved Wentz from the time they spent with him at the Senior Bowl

I've been a coach for most of my life. I can spot bad coaches a mile away. We have bad coaches. They weren't always bad, but they just don' fit anymore. Not willing to change, running the same crap.....its getting old. Oh well, I'm still a fan. I guess the jokes on me
Everyone knows you were a coach. You mention it about 8 times a day.

Dak has regressed.

Our pass blocking has regressed. big time. even with a healthy OL.

Our RB has regressed. w/o Zeke

Receivers have regressed.

TE is slower than molasses, relax, I love him, but it's time.

Most of all does the offense remind you of last years, or 2015's offense. As in Linehans base? People say defenses figured out last years offense, bullcrap we just quit running most of the plays. Have you noticed defenses calling out our plays again? Just like 2015? Have you noticed if we throw on first down, on second we're running like 90% of the time, because defenses have noticed it too.

The biggest aid to this offense would be a new OC / play caller.
I’ll never understand why some “fans”, like yourself, who seem to thrive on trashing anything Cowboys. Why be a troll?

Wentz was good last year. When the line crumbled via injury and suspension he struggled as expected. But Wentz was good and we all knew we had a budding superstar in our hands.

I agree many were but not every fan. There were many discussions if Dallas got the better QB

Well obviously they didnt. Dak was 100% better last year but most still said they'd rather have Wentz even after being out played by Dak last year. I think Colin Cowherd summed it up perfectly (even if he is a knucklehead at times). Dallas got a Corvette, Philly got an Aston Martin.

Sure he did. You would expect that from the 2nd overall pick.

You expect it but its never a guarantee. Theres been a million QB busts from round 1. The Eagles put most of their chips on one guy.

I know. We all know. A QB with almost ZERO experience was going to win MVP year 2. He is special. He is elite.

You will know Wentz is special when he truly leads the team from dire situations. Again this is not a knock but it is something he has not done yet.

He has done it all year. I guess you havent watched him a lot. 12-12 on 4th down. And absolutely outrageous 3rd down conversion rate that is #1 in the NFL. 50% on 3rd and 10 or longer. Thats mind boggling and why he was going to win MVP.

Only because they were not here last year. Makes Philly fan look like a front runner.

Philly fans arent front runners. Probably the least front running fan base in all of sports. Literally. They would sell out every game if they went 1-15. They boo their team when they pay bad. That aint front running.

1. He is overhyped. Not overrated. Huge difference. I'm sure you get what I am saying when it comes to Dallas players. Overhyped but not overrated.

I guess we are arguing semantics. Maybe you're right but the MVP in year 2 probably isnt over hyped.

True. But we all like to project. I'm 100% willing to say Zeke is a superstar all ready. Kid is phenomenal and you should trade him to Philly for a 6th rounder :)

Who the hell cares???

Which QB has more multiple turnover games?

Which QB's mobility is more of a weapon?

Which QB has the better W/L record?

Which QB would 100% of the NFL's decision makers pick if they had a choice between the 2? Foles or Dak?????

Our playcalling is so predictable its like clockwork. I don't blame Linehan because I think he takes orders from Garrett. I blame the coach because he's stubborness in not wanting to change things up.

Dak has not regressed. He got coached into an archaic system which the league has already figured out. Dak excelled last year because he made plays outside of the playbook. He took a step back because he is forced to playing within the playbook.

Get a new OC and a new coach and this team will be better. I guarantee it.
