jerry's ego will not admit the mistake that everyone else by now clearly recognizes.
imagine if our players actually quit. We'd have a top 10 pick in a year when we have tons of draft picks and we'd have a new head coach. Now' we're hamstrung with mediocrity. We're going to miss the playoffs yet again. We have a middle of the road draft pick. We get more Garrett. This franchise is becoming sickening.

Yup. Garrett secured another year or 4 when Zeke got suspended. That was enough of an excuse for Jerry.

Garrett is a fraud. Always has been always will be. He doesn't know what he is doing. Everyone sees it at this point.

Jerry knows it too but is too proud to admit the mistake which cost 10 years of talent at this point.

Sad that another historic player in Zeke might have his career ruined by Garrett. Romo, Witten, Sean Lee, Dan Bailey, and possibly Dez Bryant will never get their rings. Demarcus Ware was lucky to not get resigned and won with Denver. Bennett got him a ring with the Patriots. Newman could possibly get one with the Vikings if that team is legit. Maybe Barry Church could get one with those Jaguars..

All I know is, this coaching staff stinks from HC to OC to DC to GM and you can trickle down from there.

Dak is irrelevant at this point because he's a second year guy who needs competition next season, let the best man win. But you still haven't told me how Romo never made even the NFC championship game. He had 10 years, should we have given him another decade? Probably not, he was out of shape always, and a child sack would have sent him to the ER.

He had 1 year with what Dak worked and is working with, minus a 5 YPC in first down Zeke who everybody now realizes was the real MVP of the team last year, not Dak..

And if he was ‘out of shape’, he looked a thousand times better than Dak did in practice and against the Eagles and after two years in the system, Dak has looked worse...

Now your talking about ‘competition’ when they didn’t allow it for Romo and him.. comical

Well, Garrett didn't suspend Zeke for 6 games,

If Garrett gets another decade, Zeke will be another on the list of players who have had historic seasons with the cowboys that never amounted to anything.

So has Phillips been a HC since? How is Callahan doing in D.C. where they suck running the ball since he's been there?

Well, Phillips defense actually won a SB and currently has like the second leading scoring defense in the NFL with the Rams in one year and the Commanders have been decimated with injuries particularly OL and their pass protection and blocking for the most part in their past first offense has been more than adequate this year and was really good last year.. in fact the Commanders thus year have had over 20 different starting lineups at OL..

You know maybe Wade would have won a SB here if Garrett wasn’t OC and turning the ball over all the time.. and so on..

Let's see, when Wade was here, it's the OC fault? So is it the OC fault now? Or DC? Was it Garrett out there in Wade's tenure turning the ball over? Or was it Wade's defense that couldn't stop the Giants' offense in the second half. Wasn't it Wades defense that had it's players extending Giants drives with penalties? As for Callahan he's suppose to be be a run game guru yet his run game in D.C. Has been atrocious, even when healthy on OL(last year and year before)

As I said. Did Garrett cause Zeke to miss 6 games? Maybe If Zeke was available, he could've helped the situation.

What's comical is I called for Competition for Romo back in 2009 but guys laughed. Competition for QBs is always good until you find one. There was no competition for QB last year because Romo is a known choker and even worse, any touch he'd be in the ER.

You tell me if it isn’t Garrett’s fault, it was Wade’s for the offense? What exactly are you trying to say?

When Wade was fired after his seventh game, the offense had NINETEEN turnovers in 7 games.. 19 TOs..

The Cowboys offense was struggling the end of the season with Garrett in 2007 and most people blamed TOs high ankle sprain and Garrett couldn’t even get the Cowboys passing record for Romo against the pathetic skins that year for a whole half..

Your sitting there blaming Wade, the offense was waffling against the Giants the whole time..

And Callahan is known as an OL coach, which includes running game and passing.. and what part of 20 different lineups don’t you understand?

Ok Mrs. Garrett

What’s comical is you defending Dak’s play this whole season until you can’t anymore otherwise the mental
Asylum would lock you up..

now your relying on the fact Dak’s play sucks because he has no competition and needed it, but totally ignore the fact they wouldn’t allow Dak to compete with Romo.. so you just keep making excuses..

It must be embarrassing to defend such horrible QB play.. it’s like your Jerry Jones though.. keep digging in on Jason Garrett being the HC and won’t fire him.. it’s like you making excuses for Dak..

Garrett isn't going anywhere because Jerry likes him and he's comfortable with him. Doesn't have to walk on eggshells. Still sells tickets and merchandise. As long as the team is somewhat relevant into late December and Jerry is making money he's fine.

Of course we all knew Jerry wasn't committed to winning, or else he would've hired a GM sometime in the last 2 decades and never would've hired coaches like Gailey, Campo, Wade or Garrett.

I used to have hope things might change when Stephen takes over, but he has had more control lately and is in Jerry's ear and he seems comfortable with Garrett too. We're basically the Bengals with Mike Brown and HC's like Marvin Lewis. Too bad we can't have Garrett walk away like Marvin is going to do after the season.

The difference between you and me is that I don't make love to Dak in my mind like you do with Romo. You love Romo, I bet you wish you could marry Romo if not for his wife. I can be rational about a player, like Dak Prescott, you can't.
And I dont' blame you, because there are lots of you out there. You married a football loser and now you're fighting till death for him.
I dont' give two ***** about Dak Prescott, nor Romo. I care less about QBs who aren't getting me to or winning Super bowls. But I have sense, something you should try. Dak is in his second year, I have no clue if he's good or bad, you know why? Because his first year he was pretty good, his second year he was pretty bad, so now I'd like to see him in his third year with competition. I can't be more fair than that.

But Tony Romo's time is over, and his career was a failed one. Whether it was his fault or not, I don't really care. He did NOTHING. I would have rather they got rid of him after 4 years but they kept him. So when I go to bed at night, I still won't care about Dak Prescott or Romo. But I'm still willing to give a 2 year player until year 3 just like I gave your lover.

you clearly do, defending such garbage play this whole year... it bothers you so much knowing that Romo is a far better qB so you look for excuses to defend the fact that your GM levels are like Jerry Jones Lacewell Shante Carver levels saying Dak was playing well this year and its everybody else’s fault until now..
