Humor. Dez

Just got a text, Dez was hired by the Times Square to DROP the ball on New Year's Eve! Lol! People are cruel, but funny!

It would be funnier to hire someone like Jackie Smith whose career was known for a DROP.

They should hire Garrett for a new Clapper commercial.

Yeah, it still hurts but those three Super Bowl wins in the 90s took some of the sting out of it.
The Jackie Smith drop, and Dwight Clarks "catch" because the Cowboys/49er's NFCCG was the real SB because both teams were head and shoulders above anything the AFC could offer and it was well known that whoever won our game with the niners was also going to win the SB.

"The Catch" still hurts to see. Launched their dynasty and ushered in the end of Landry's run of NFC dominance.

As heartbreaking as those two losses were at least we got some payback for both. We ended up beating the Steelers in the Super Bowl, giving them some painful memories to look back on and we had our own version of “The Catch” in an NFC Title against SF with the Aikman to Harper slant. That play led to us winning a Super Bowl. To add insult to injury the 49ers had to live with the fact they traded their best pass rusher to the Cowboys which greatly contributed to our dynasty.
