To all you Dak haters, this is the number of TDs and INTs he passed/ran for in the first 8 games before Zeke's suspension, while adjusting to 2 new starters on the OL, and beforeTyron got hurt. No, he did not play well the second half of the year with/without Zeke and Tyron. But maybe, just maybe, next year he is the player we saw the first half of the season, not the second. Especially if we get a more creative OC and playmakers with separation ability at WR and TE.
Whatever it takes to convince yourself.

The offense seemed to hit a rhythm the last few games before the suspension. After the suspension they were completely out of whack

Some have just been waiting for Dak to fall to jump on him. It took a season and a half.

Really? We're now calling people Dak haters because they are concerned over his recent poor play. I'm extremely concerned about Dak moving forward but I certainly don't hate him. I want him to be a better QB on Sundays than he has been for the past month or so.

This isn't new. It happened last year. If one criticises Dak in any way, that gets one labeled a Dak hater.

It's comical.

We weren't good with Zeke who finished with a 4.1 ypc. Dak was bad, and so was Zeke.
We weren't as good as we were last year but we were still a winning team even after Goodell put a hit on our season when he announced Elliot's bs suspension and then pulled every dirty trick in the book to insure it hurt us the most this year

Our season was assassinated by Goodell

There are Dak haters, they were here when he went 13-3. Risen, etc., and others.

Lol, riiiiiight. They hate him. I'm sure.

Last year, at the end of the season, I was convinced we had our starting QB.

This year, I'm convinced we don't.

I guess the Dak brethren will chalk that up as being a Dak hater.

There is a huge difference between someone being critical of Dak, and someone being a Dak hater. There are legitimate Dak haters.

There are 3 camps.

There are people convinced that Dak is the future.

There are people convinced he isn't.

And a majority with severe reservations and concerns.

And I'm sure the ones wearing tinfoil hats also see Dak haters as a fourth group.

And me .... not a hater I just don't think he is legit, has the intangibles, or is a true leader of men. I think he is a great guy and a average QB in the likes of all the other mid tiers in the league.

18 of those 20 TD passes were in the red zone.

My point is, Zeke made Dak look good.

Defenses had to respect the playaction/zone read when Zeke was on the field in the red zone. Dak had wide open throws to Witten or Beasley.

Heck, even Siemian threw a similar touchdown pass against us in that Denver game.

Amazing what an elite RB can do for ya...
Well what happen to our elite RB the last 2 games of the year where the offense struggled. Not only that our running game didn't suffer that much with Zeke out.

By the way no argument here that Zeke is the most talented back on the roster and makes us better

An NFL QB has to overcome adversity. He cant go into a shell because a player or two aren't available for whatever reason. Dak was just brutal this year and it wasn't just the games without Zeke.

Touchdowns and interceptions are terrible numbers to judge quarterbacks by, and rushing touchdowns for a QB are irrelevant unless you are talking about long runs out of scoring position. He was also one of the worst quarterbacks in the league in completion percentage and yards per attempt over that same stretch. It should be stated he was not terrible over that stretch, merely average. Then the wheels fell off when the tough games came and he was reduced to only (oh no, the horror) 2 first team All-Pro offensive linemen instead of three.

Dak gets no excuses, but that Atlanta game obvious had a huge effect on him.
