@walterfootball for updates.

Note that there are not 100 players yet, but there will be additions as cuts begin.

  1. image: http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/steelersb_logo.gif

    http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/steelersb_logo.gif Le'Veon Bell, RB, Steelers. Age: 26.

    http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/star.gif
Le'Veon Bell is one of the elite play-making weapons in the NFL. He's a tremendous runner who has averaged at least 4.7 yards per carry in three of his past four seasons. He's even better as a receiver; he caught 85 passes in 2017.

  2. image: http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/cowboysb_logo.gif

http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/cowboysb_logo.gif DeMarcus Lawrence, DE, Cowboys. Age: 26.
    image: http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/star.gif

    http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/star.gif

    http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/star.gif
DeMarcus Lawrence registered eight sacks in 2015, but didn't play much in 2016. He was very limited because of a suspension and then a back injury, which required surgery. This obviously did not adversely affect his play because he was one of the most dominant defenders in the entire league this past year, registering 15 sacks. He also played the run very well. Lawrence, just 26 in April, has a very bright future ahead of him, and if he continues this level of play, he'll be enshrined in Canton one day.

  3. image: http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/panthersb_logo.gif

    http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/panthersb_logo.gif Andrew Norwell, G, Panthers. Age: 26.
    image: http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/star.gif

    http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/star.gif
Andrew Norwell is one of the top guards in the NFL. He has improved every single season in the league, and he's now dominant in every regard. Norwell should continue to get better, as he won't even turn 27 until October.

  4. image: http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/saintsb_logo.gif

http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/saintsb_logo.gif Drew Brees, QB, Saints. Age: 39.

    http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/halfstar.gif
Drew Brees is no longer the quarterback he once was because of his age, but even with slight regression, he's still one of the top signal-callers in the NFL. He's 39 now, but Brees should be able to have one or two more exceptional seasons at the very least. He completed 72 percent of his passes in 2017 with an 8.1 YPA.

  5. image: http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/49ersb_logo.gif

    http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/49ersb_logo.gif Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, 49ers. Age: 26.

    http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/halfstar.gif
Jimmy Garoppolo is a very promising 26-year-old quarterback who thrived in limited action with the 49ers. He has already won over the locker room, with the players referring to him as a "Young Tom Brady." Garoppolo was well worth what San Francisco surrendered in the trade with the Patriots, so he'll receive a big contract from them to be their new franchise quarterback.

I like Zach Line if we are going to use a FB. I thought Smith was fine, but Line would be an improvement in the blocking game.

Lots of good names on this list.

I hope we don't skip FA again.

Canton? Seriously?

http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/falconsb_logo.gif Adrian Clayborn, DE, Falcons. Age: 30.

Adrian Clayborn is a rock solid defensive end with no weaknesses. He logged a career-high 9.5 sacks in 2017, though six of them came in one game where Dallas' inept coaching staff didn't adjust for Tyron Smith being injured.

That's gotta leave a mark........

That's gotta leave a mark........

They'll talk about it for years.........

Guys I like:
LaAdrian Waddle: Swing OT. Versatile guy that can be the swing OT. Young enough to have upside but not so expensive he has to be dragged off the board. Texas kid.
Mike Wallace: deep threat WR. Very inconsistent but has great deep speed to beat defense keying run and Dez. Whereas TWill beats teams mostly on deep crosses Wallace can just run and catch it on a fly.
Jeremy Hill: back up RB, Only 25 and mediocre performances may well be linked to declining Bengals OL. Younger option than Morris.

LaMarcus Joyner. Safety. He'd be my top free agent target. Excellent young player. Nasty thing is Rams have tons of cap space but may opt to pass if bidding gets too high or so I hope.

My modest shopping list:

Sam Young, OT: Solid swing tackle option. I'd still draft a guy in round 3 or so, assuming the board matches, but Young gives us a guy that is at least solid and has starting experience. Only 31. Depending on the size of the deal, I wouldn't mind Nate Solder. Injuries should keep his price down, but may still be too rich for a back up.
Star Lotulelei, DT: Another solid option. Walterfootball seems to not like him, and they may be right. I do think he would be a solid run stuffer, but if the film says otherwise there are a number of DTs we could choose.
Navarro Bowman, ILB: Gives us a pretty good LB, so the defense doesn't drop off so much when Sean Lee is out. Also is someone to push Jaylon Smith so that he isn't handed a starting job.
