Linehan has a job here still. Marinelli has been talking of retiring. Our QB coach is let go. Our WR coach left. And now Eberflus is leaving.

If this halfassed staff thinks we are going anywhere in the near future trying to replace THAT many coaches and keeping Linehan they're dumber than I thought.

Is this the part where I pretend to have ever heard of him before last week?
Without this place I would still have never heard of him.

I don’t know how to pronounce that name either...

Now that the Cowboys defense is consistently actually acquiring talented players, the defense has dramatically improved. Coaching turnover is as inevitable as player turnover. It happens. There is no point in getting too riled up about it.

Guess Colts will stay as a 3-4 team? IIRC he was brought here when we ran the 3-4

Awesome, Now Rod will go with the rush 2, drop 9.:flagwave:

Seriously you can say addition by subtraction. But I don't see that so far.

I have no insight into ME and his impact. That said of all the coaches including the terrible HC he was the guy people seemed to respect most. Now he is gone and Jerry is adding Bengals coaches to the mix. How is it possible after 2 of the last 3 years of failure that they have the same OC, DC, and HC? It is mind boggling. This coming season is the fork in the road. Anything less than a deep trip into the playoffs and Jerry is going to lose a chunk of his fan base. I feel certain of that. People are tired of the NFL and they are tired of the relentless mediocrity in Dallas. I just can’t see it working out well. The coaches here have way too much baggage. They all stink.

So sad.

Wonder if his leaving or staying is connected to Martnelli's decision to return or not?
Heck just hire John Fox and be done.........I always question the heart of anyone thinking about retiring.
If not him, how about Lovie Smith? He seems like a good fit too.

Edit; Well strike that idea, I just googled Lovie Smith and he is a head football coach in college, and is only 2 years in on a 6 year contract.

You think John Fox is going to be Jason garrett’s Defensive coordinator after taking one team to a SB as a dc and two separate teams to the sb as hc?

Now that would be a loss. I'd call Alexander replacing Pollack a win. No decision on WR coach, ST coordinator, or QB coach. No rush either

There is a difference between one or two coaching changes, but it seems a touch silly to not be a bit concerned when we have to fill multiple spots. And let good coaches leave.
Eberflus
Biscarria
Pollack
Baker
Wilson
