For those interested they are showing this draft this evening. 7:00 - 9:00 pm est on ESPN2 1/18
What I like about this early draft is the recognition that QB's go early and here they are. On the Vea pick I go by trends and the DC generally dont go D1 in the 1st. Boy if Vea is every thing he's claimed to be he would be a smash hit for our defense.http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2018/i...l-kiper-first-round-pick-rankings-draft-order
An asterisk denotes a prospect who is an underclassmen, and I have 24 of them here, which means there are only eight seniors. The position split for the first round here is 15 on offense and 17 on defense.

19. Dallas Cowboys - *Vita Vea DT Washington
The Cowboys took a step backward in 2017, and it was a regression across the board. Receiver could be a target here, along with offensive tackle. But what's tough to find on the free-agent market is a disruptive defensive tackle, which Dallas just didn't have. Vea is a freakish talent at 6-4, 346 pounds who can be a three-down player and add an interior pass-rush presence.

I think he will ace the interviews. It's a player I know I won't feel any differently about the day of the draft because I won't be privy to the interviews. I don't need to see his workouts. I've watched his entire career. I need to see how he handles himself and what he has to say to teams when they grill him. I'd either be all in or he'd get taken off the board based on that.
I think he will ace the interviews.
His football character is off the charts. I hardly believe people will view a Generation X crotch chop as a huge negative.
If they do, then they are stuffy old men.
More on Allen:
That is strange. He's already making it known he wants to go to Miami.
Nothing against the Dolphins but it is idiotic to say that right now. This is what I mean about the guy.
Tread lightly.I'm not a big stats guy but 56% completion percentage needs a really good explanation for me.
It's not smart to rely solely on stats but it's probably just as dumb to completely disregard them too.
Tread lightly.
If you said this to Mel's face, he would likely give you a mean forearm shiver.
After seeing that tweet on Mayfield, he must be nuts...he WANTS to go to Miami???
I don't know.
I can think of worse things than being a multi millionaire living in Miami.
