Are Eagles fans some of the worst fans in the NFL?

Are they? Just got done watching Invincible with Mark Wahlburg. Philly fans have a reputation as being some of the worst fans. But I wonder..................they would never put up with a coach like Jason Garrett. He would have gotten run out of town years ago. He simply wouldnt last in towns like Philly or New York. But here in Dallas the guy gets a free pass. In fact, there are even fans that stick up for him and think he is a good coach. Imagine that? Is that a great fan or the worst type of fan?

Eagles fans are the worse but I'll give them credit for loving their team and not be willing to put up with this crap year after year.

I would call them obnoxious and rude. But worst? They are loyal and wont take losing. They run anyone out of town that sucks. Not here in Dallas. But both the media and the fan base in general its blind love. Kinda like Jerry himself. He runs the team like a blind homer. And that is our GM. Sad.

They’ll be outside of the Vikings hotel tonight blowing air horns all night.

So pretty high up there ... but I don’t know if they are the worst

I see what you did there. A bash the coach thread disguised as an "Eagles fan" thread.

They had a version of Jason Garrett.

His name was Richie Kotite.

Has there ever really been a coach like Garrett ever? Has there ever been one with less coaching experience in the history of the NFL? He has NEVER been a head coach anywhere at any level. Not even pop warner. He was basically a QB coach for 2 or 3 years and then Jones handed him the keys to the franchise. Talk about stupid?

Think it’s been reported that the police and local businesses have been warned to prepare for possible Riots for a possible loss but also if they win...

A riot because of a super bowl appearance. Destroying the city to show city pride. Can’t make that up

The fans got tired of Reid and he went to 5 NFC title games.

They would want Garrett’s head on a spit at this point.

And they are going to be unbearable as I think they are going to win tomorrow.

I don't get why the idea of the Eagles getting to a SB is so traumatic. They got in the game in 2005, lost.

It is the win possibility I care about. There is no way they beat the Patriots or even the Jags for that matter.

Jerry is still riding on the fumes of the 90’s. Many of the fans have walked away. I’ve always argued without that early success he would have been ran out of town .

I can tell you I was one of tens of thousands who walked away from season tickets when moved to new stadium after almost 4 decades.

Local TV viewership is one of the lowest in Cowboys history and in NFL with DFW viewership only about 25-30% compared to most Home area viewership over 4o%.

If you’ve noticed many home games there are tens of thousands of opposing fans in attendance. Jerry has turned the Cowboys into a social event not just a football game. His revenue generating streams have reduced the need to win football games.

Dallas as Troy so accurately stated is “ a winners town” .Many Cowboy fans are what I call casual or wagon fans which only are interested when we’re having success while we have a core of diehards addicted because of the 2 championship eras but very frustrated while they are still our local team watch or follow because this is afterall Texas where football is king.
