I thought he showed some talent but no where in the ball park of being the best on the team

It was rumored he failed another test last year. He was eligible to apply for reinstatement in November but did not. He is expected to file for reinstatement this offseason. If/when he does reapply, Goodell will have 60 days to make a decision.

Goodell will give Zeke another suspension just for walking in the same vicinity as Gregory . He has proven that he needs zero proof of anything

I like broaddus. Most of the time the things are just conversational and being right or wrong is no big deal but he has moments where he seems angry and insistent that he is right and i don’t get it.

Fisher is a tool and always has been.

He is already banished indefinitely. His banishment is for a minimum of one year. He has to file for reinstatment and have Goodell approve it before being eligible to play again. Although he could have already applied for reinstatment he has not done so.

I thought he was only waiting for the season and playoffs to be over so he didn't distract from the actual games and piss Goodell off even more

There is still plenty of time to get re-instated and be back for some OTAs and camp

Here is the actual drug policy. The punishment is listed there under stage 3. I think the PDF page numbers are 20-21, and the actual page numbers listed on the document is 17-18. There is no 1 year suspension. It is a banishment of a minimum of 1 year and you have to apply for reinstatment. That effectively makes it an indefinite suspension because there is no guarantee the player can come back after a year. If it was just a 1 year suspension there would be no reason to have to apply for reinstatement.

I like Broaddus, too, and he does have his uses, but he’s almost completely tone deaf when it comes to guessing what the team might do. It’s actually funny sometimes.

If he is the best lineman on the team then the Dallas Cowboys need to really have a come to Jesus moment on what the hell it is they are doing on the Defensive Line because that would mean that their defensive line is trash and a guy who has never played full season and has had problems adhering to the NFL drug policy was your best defensive lineman.

True. We will know here in a few months. Hopefully he reapplies in time to participate in OTAs. If not, Training camp starts in July so he should at least file in early May to give Goodell the 60 days to make the decision without missing any camp time. I figure at worst we have 4 months to wait before seeing what he does. If he doesn’t file in May then there are probably still issues we are not aware of.

OK, I'll be the one to ask, and it's only your expert opinion at this point as there are still 9 months to go. Week 1 of 2018, will Randy Gregory be on the roster/field?

Bryan: Just a guess but I’d say no. There are still just too many things that he needs to overcome and I just don’t see that happening. I was encouraged earlier in the year but not now.

David: I know this isn’t the answer you want, but I just don’t know. How am I supposed to know with the amount of information we have? There’s been some talk that Gregory is doing well and is taking the right steps toward returning. But we haven’t seen him in almost a year, and there’s not a lot of information to go on. It would certainly be a big boost to this defense, but I don’t think it’s something you can count on.
