Dak didn't suck this year. He had a few bad games but was on pace with the MVPs the first half of the season. In that game against Washington remind everybody what Dak stats were

Hey Jerry how about you go out and get Cousins and give us a Franchise QB who's got all the talent necessary to take this Team along with Zeke and our offline to the Superbowl! Without a quality QB teams go nowhere (unless they have the 2000 Ravens def) and waiting for Dak to become a Cousins might take forever or simply never happen!

Dak didn't have a bad year. The ones that say he is garbage and had a terrible year are haters. Plain and simple. A couple of bad games compared to trash all season is totally different. If you can complaint the good and criticize the bad then you aren't a hater.

The thing is that Kirk does the same thing Dak does. He just runs an offense but at least Dak has the ability to make the occasional spectacular play.

Cousins is a jag playing in a league with poor QB play so people think he's good. He's ok. He isn't better then Dak.

You watch Dallas and Washington play and it's clear who the better player is and Cousins plays in an offensive scheme that is pretty solid compared to the scheme Dak plays in.

I agree that Dak needs competition, but Cousins isn't the person for the job in my view. I'd happily have Bradford over Cousins for example. I'd also highly approve of drafting a QB. In fact, that'd be the move I'd make to send the message to Dak.

Exactly. Of course, you will have the excuses that Dak has a better team around him. Dak beat Cousins without Zeke and the other injuries we had. We own him. For good reason. He isn't good. I can't believe people actually want this clown on this team to start. He'd be a great backup but there's a shortage of QBs in this league so he will start somewhere for sure. He is a very poor man's Romo and that isn't a good thing. Because Romo was a very poor man's version of Favre.

We get to see Cousins twice a year and our fanbase should know better than most what a spare Cousins is. It's not like we just saw him once and he had an outlier game where he amazed us. The first big game Cousins wins will be his first.

I've always liked the idea of drafting a qb every year. while the odds are admittedly greater at finding a franchise guy with a top pick, cousins was a 3rd rounder. jimmy garoppolo a 4th rounder. brady a 6th rounder.

What I see happening here is a lot of veteran QB talent with past success and possible potential hit the market. Cousins is there already. Keenum, Bortles, Foles perhaps or Wentz, and even Bridgewater could well be on the market. Some of the QB needy teams might take the bait and sign some of these type guys. That could mean that the draft could be really interesting. It would not surprise me to see a couple of rookies QBs drop down the list on draft day. Some smart team may get some real QB value late in the first round or even the second. As far as the Cowboys "getting Cousins" goes, forget it. It is not happening. Next topic, please.

The title of this thread points to the lack of confidence some have in Dak. You would have to go back to the days of Quincy Carter to see this many fans jumping ship on a Cowboys QB.
