SB is normally over about 9 ish ET. Good gawd!!
East Coast bias? Get over yourself. I have 3 kids and 2 are still in school.
I think you should take your own advice.
West Coast is the best for watching NFL.
All the games are centered around eating times. Totally perfect for watching football hanging out with friends and family.
Really? I'm not the one whining.
That is b/c the NFL doesn't care about the west coast where the NFL ratings are always lower. The big NFL markets are on the East Coast, and the NFL wants those markets in prime time. We get punished with a 10:30 pm finish while west coasters get to hang out, watch the game, and still get to bed on time.
Your first response was obnoxious and you know it.

As always, I will pounce on any opportunity to voice my displeasure with late start times on the East coast (Pennsylvania resident).
I hate when we play Sunday night (which unfortunately is more times than most teams each season). Those games don't end till damn near midnight.
Forget about Monday night and Thursday night games. Not staying up for those unless the Cowboys are involved.
And if you're a fight fan don't even get me started. I was raised on boxing and love MMA. Want to watch a big fight on Saturday night? Prepare yourself to be up till 1-130am. Main card starts at 10pm and main event won't start till after midnight.
Stuff was fun back in my younger years but I just don't get down like that anymore, lol.
I can understand your position for TNF, SNF, and MNF. But Sunday 6:30 PM EST? Zero reasons to complain about that.
I went to school one year in San Diego. I hated the 10 am kickoffs. And the whole Pacific Coast live broadcast times for games .You wouldn't enjoy super bowl sunday so much if you had to wrap up your party at halftime b/c people have to get to work and get the kids in bed. I used to live in the Bay area and loved the NFL start times. It really sucks on the east coast.
I believe fights start so late because they are trying to maximize the gate and betting. As always, I will pounce on any opportunity to voice my displeasure with late start times on the East coast (Pennsylvania resident).

In the early years of the Super Bowl it was a late afternoon start. I attended SB 13 in Miami . My ticket stub says 4 PM.Watching football must be a completely different experience for you Pacific Timers. A 3:30 PST kickoff is pretty much an afternoon game but for Central and Eastern, it's always been a primetime event.
Same thing for regular season games, must be nice having SNF end and still having a few hours of your evening.

Weekday games could begin while your still in traffic driving home . Nuts. Totally out of whack.
You definitely had a legit beef with MNF on East Coast. They often lost viewers late in the game.I liked the west coast start times b/c you never had to sacrifice sleep to watch a game. So, yeah, maybe you missed the first quarter of MNF. So what? At least you didn't have to stay up to midnight to see the end of the game.

We didn’t even spend the night. We flew in that morning and flew back after the game.
