Goodell IS whats wrong with the NFL. Defending the Pseudo God Father is an odd position to take. I have thick skin and don't really care what someone on here tries to say...it is what it is, a unspoken screw job. I guess HOF criteria be damned. Walls was a winner and for him to get passed by like this is shameful. No offense to Jerry Kramer...he was in the right place at the right time back in the day. Good player...but not HOF quality. I call Packers bias on this one. This was Walls' last shot and now he got the ultimate diss. The league has unwritten bias...and if you don't believe that your living in a bubble. If Jerry Jones wasn't our owner Walls would be in the Hall. I have the guts to at least point it out.

Kramer was part of the 1st dynasty in the NFL, everyone else on that OL is in the HOF and did not get in via the old player vote, they got in on merit.Saying Goodell is biased is B.S you whining like a 12 yr old girl who cant go to a Justin Beiber concert means little.

Owens got into the HOF and was a Cowboys WR for over 2 years, why no bias here. I would say that your beef is with Jerry Jones, hence the if Jerry was not our owner, and yet Jerry got in last season, and what about the other multiple Cowboys in the HOF since Jerry was an owner

Where was it assumed he would get in? Can’t see how anyone was shocked that he didn’t get in he’s been waiting for close to 19 years. He’s not even in the Cowboys ROH. I didn’t think he would get in. Cornerback is one of the toughest positions to make the HOF. During Walls’ era the 1980s and on there were a lot of great corners. As for why Jerry Kramer would all of a sudden be worthy after 30 years. He did play for one of the great dynasties ever, the 1960’s Packers that won 5 championships. During Walls’ prime years with the Cowboys he and the team kept coming up short. The team was on the way down when he arrived.

Walls gave up The Catch to Dwight Clark. Walls himself admitted that play hurt his career. He admitted he got fooled on the play and hesitated thinking the ball was sailing out of bounds. Hard to overcome being on the short end of such an historic play. It’s absolutely ludicrous to think any rift between Jerry and Goodeill kept Walls out of the Hall of Fame.

Everson has a SB ring and was a key cog with the Giants. Brazile has no SB appearance or ring. So the all decade teams are the gold standard? Hmm...thats suspicious.

Isnt the best Honor and litmus test of HOF caliber players actually winning? Like a SB for example? Or like playing for 15 years like Walls did(longevity)? He was good for a very long time. Its an injustice,no other way you can spin it.

Harvey Martin was a Superbowl Co-MVP.He also holds the unofficial sack record in a season with 23 1/2 sacks.made the 70's All Decade Team.Martin has more total sacks than Fred Dean who is in the HOF.
