Eagles are likable team and deserved Super Bowl

I have rooted against Philly as much as anyone. But this team was different. They are everything a fan wants. Fierce, hard hitting, under-dog who took on Goliath. They don't have prima donnas, hear almost nothing about them partying or having domestic abuse cases in league office. Their HC took risk, was creative and adjusted. Their GM has good football minds he trust and wasn't afraid to roll dice on players. Almost all of their FA & players they traded for were successful. Dallas is now on clock and I don't think leash is as long as they think.

I went into the game thinking I was pulling for the Patriots.... somehow I came out of the other end rooting for the Eagles.

I don't even hate BB and Tom Brady -- I just am just sick of them dominating the NFL.

For tonight, and tonight only, my hat is off to the Eagles.

i feel ya but i feel the op too. the eagles are a team with soul and character. loved their celebrations all year and the way they stood up for their core beliefs (i guess it wasn't a distraction after all ). meanwhile our boys didn't have one team celebration all year and were neutered by their owner/coach when it came to the anthem protests.
