The fumble that cost his team the game against a vastly inferior Philadelphia Eagles franchise....could it lead to retirement? Could it lead to a sharp decline in his performance next season?

I can't stand the eagles and am not really a fan of the pats either

The Eagles won yesterday, but Tom Brady was the very last reason that happened.
He flat out lit them up.
Did NE even punt one time all game? I'm thinking that is a "no", but no sure.

505 yard passing, 3 TDs, 0 ints....come on!
That is an insane performance

Philly and NE tied for 2nd in scoring
Philly's defense was rated higher ranked than New England's.

They were not inferior to the Pats on either side of the ball.

505 passing yards......no Brady is fine......the eagles were a hungry team that played well from start to finish....the last series causing Brady to fumble was like an exclamation mark..........I was as surprised as anyone that the eagles were so well prepared, well coached....they deserved the win.

Brady is 40. He's been slowly and steadily declining the last couple years. People don't notice because he's still winning. The lack of zip on those outs he was trying to throw toward the end of the game were a factor. One should have been picked.

Brady is a top 5 all time QB. His mind was like made for football. It is so good, it's hiding the decline from most fans, all but the most astute observers.

Offhand, I'd say yes, beyond a doubt, a sharp decline is right around the corner. As it is, he's getting by w/ his extreme saavy.

Based on the way he played all season - no.

Setting a Super Bowl record of 505 yards to finish the season seems like a good day to me.

Until proven otherwise, the road to the Super Bowl in the AFC goes through NE.

Father Time is unbeaten in the end. Payton Manning at the end was really pathetic; a ten year old girl could have thrown better.
I wonder if Brady can bring himself to retire before he reaches that stage; BB would clearly boot him before then but now Kraft has started to interfere so who knows?

TB12 nutrition plan will have Brady playing until he's 60, won't it?

For some odd reason, people have this idea that players can play forever. For QB's, 36-40 is the end. Brady is now at the far end of that spectrum. I don't care what he eats or how many workouts he does, the body starts giving way.

LOL!! People have been saying "a sharp decline is right around the corner" and complaining about the "zip" on his passes regarding Tom Brady for 5 years now. Meanwhile, he just won MVP, has 3 consecutive years of 100+ QB ratings and in the past 4 years has 3 conference championships and 2 Super Bowl Championships.
