I checked it out myself out of curiousity. It's still up and has not been removed.

Oddly enough he is now getting in an instagram war with people telling him is s bad idea/they don't like it. I don't think he cares about any possible down side to him personally which tells you a lot about his personality/thought process.
If you scroll up enough in the comments some of his teammates posted emojis of like scared faces, kinda telling him "dude what is wrong with you". Dez didn't so it must be his fault though ;) haha

I'm somewhat inclined to take the validity of that Instagram with a grain of salt.

Hard to swallow anyone is foolish enough to post that for public consumption.

If it's something that he's disposed to do, I see why Stephen is put off by him.

This should be an interesting thread. At least it won't be a Dez hate / bash thread. It will probably be a "we as fans are perfect in our lives so we can criticize our players" thread.
:lmao:
Nope none of us are perfect, but a lot of us aren't dumb enough to post pictures of our imperfections online, and we also don't have a following like Cowboys fans to worry about lol

And just what is that. That he has the balls to think differently and not care what people think about him.
Because most people are brainwashed to think a certain way and the need to judge others based on those opinions of their own lifestyle.

To each their own if it is not harming others.

Not harming me at all. Only reason I even posted this thread is to show what the TEAM may be thinking regarding letting him go. I don't care if he is having orgies as long as he isn't posting it for the world to see. The team may have a different opinion

Thinking differently is fine. Living his life that way is his own personal choice.

Putting it on instagram is a really bad idea and arguing with instgram followers is an even worse idea in a contract year.

What good comes out of it? His ego and his street cred goes up?

What bad can come out of it? Losing millions on his next contract in a contract year?

Is a personal choice. I am 100 percent behind his right to put it in instagram. It's just a reficulously horrible self defeating choice. Lol

I hear that, but the problem is that he is a public figure and one would assume there is some type of social media policy from either the Cowboys or the league prohibiting such posts.

I mean right on and all Dave, but damn arent you trying to get a contract lol. I dunno, I haven't seen the post but it sounds like he may have made a bad choice.

His choices probably have alot to do with the rumors we have heard about "hoping" somone bites on that 2nd round tender. This team needs focus in the worst way.

Yeah. That's great for you. But let's say he turns out to be the greatest defensive player in the history of the NFL. I mean first ballot Hall Of Fame great. How many millions of dollars do you think this post cost him in endorsement money?

His street cred went up. His salary just took a sharp downward trend.

Not denying it was a bad choice. I am just saying some will be overboard critical for the wrong reasons.

Social media is making sports not as fun as it use to be......

But this isn't anything new, the 90's team had the White House for crying out loud, they just didn't have the ability to tweet about it! Plus his wife did this for him apparently.
In the past, especially with pro athletes, all we really new about them was confined to the sports field. If they kept their noses clean, what they did in their personal life was not widely known. It was easy to hold these guys in high regard because we really didn't know them personally. Now because of social media, we are getting glimpses into their personal lives and we are seeing that they guy wearing the uniform isn't quit what we had pictured in our minds. Sometimes these guys are even better persons than we thought and sometimes it's the opposite. Sure we know bits and pieces about the White House era, but if social media would have been around back then, you have to wonder what the implications would have been.
