They should be looking for a RB who will be heavily involved in the passing game. Martin is not that player.
Dunbar?I agree. We've been missing a guy wreaking havoc out of the backfield catching passes for a while now.
I agree. I just wanted to get the jump on what was going to enevetably happen. :/There is a new thread for every player that is released or rumored to be on the trade block. Do not spend any valuable resources on a player that takes Zeke off the field. You can find in back-up RB mid-late in every draft.
Dunbar?
I agree. We've been missing a guy wreaking havoc out of the backfield catching passes for a while now. It would be an answer for teams deciding to double Beasley.
Rod and Keith are special team studs and are willing to play multiple roles. Alfred Morris was a solid back-up and I would rather Dallas sign him over muscle hamster. Dallas can pick-up quality gifted running backs after the draft, these players are also willing to play special teams.Tampa release Doug Martin
Any interest?

Zeke is too valuable at this point in his career to be in a committee. I will pass on Doug for a younger stud who can learn special teams.
We don't pass to the RB in the flat much.
That was staple with the 90's Cowboys. I remember Aikman swinging it out to Emmitt all the time.
I'd like to see more of that.
Rod Smith earned the back up spot last year in my opinion...not that we can’t always use more talent, but spending $ on a RB isn’t a good use of resources.
Hey Kaiser, fish fry tonight,,, just bring a few brews.I could definitely see a specialty back like Burkhead signed because it diversifies the offense and Linehan loves having a Lance Dunbar type of specialty back weapon.
But this a very strong draft for RBs in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, which means a good one will be on the board for our pick in the 4th.
