Technically the Cowboys are always in rebuilding mode. 8-8 does that. Also the excuse machine revolves around needing just one or two more pieces. It all works nicely.

I'm afraid they will ride the treadmill.
I don't see this team - with everyone healthy -
as a Super Bowl contender.
Unless the passing offense gets back
to a high level and the defense improves to a top notch unit, this team is simply
a borderline playoff team.
Could they get hot and go 11-5?
Sure. But it also takes something extra to win
once you get in the playoffs.

You can't even tell me that's reality when the Eagirls just won a championship. The league is literally wide open. You just went 13-3 and then 9-7....now you are rebuilding? Naw......
