He never caught more than 18 Romo passes in a year.
He had two games with Romo that he had over 50 yards, two games where he had over 4 catches.
His best ever game receiving was with Brandon Weeden at QB...and no Dez.
Most overrated Cowboy I have ever seen for how long he stuck here. He’s a waste of space...I would rather bring Lucky Whitehead back.
Here comes the daily Jerry hate. Makes me wonder why some are even Cowboys fan.. smh. You do realize he is the owner.. that’s not going to change. It’s like wishing you could fly or a nagging woman hoping men will put the seat down after peeing. Lame.
What was Dunbar's jersey #, 20,24 or 26? He was kinda' speedy, although in '15',he red-lined his motor& over torqued one of his casing-liners in that meaningful attempt of bringing that k.o. 4 yards deep out of the end zone, by golly,he was trying thoughHe never caught more than 18 Romo passes in a year.

I don't think he was ever rated all that high here. He was never more than a change of pace 3rd down back, and he never really even had fans who went to bat for him as anything more than that.
Nonsense.
There were quotes from the staff that basically talked about his abilities to create a mismatch and how he was a "weapon".
He was the poster child for how this organization not only overrated the talent but also was clueless about their supposed talent.
The revisionist history is that he really wasn't all that important now he is gone and basically one step from being out of the league.Yep. Take Zeke Elliott off the field for that bum. People applauded it.
Your point is well taken, but the bottom line is, as Cowboys fans we care; so that's why we complain. This team hasn't sniffed the Super Bowl since I was in high school and I'm turning 40 this summer. It's beyond ridiculous.

Because from you’re experience the staff doesn’t say that stuff about bottom roster players?!?! Rod Smith anybody? Lucky Whitehead? Ryan Switzer?
Come on. He was a COP back who could run the route tree and return kicks in a pinch and had some big plays in preseason. That’s how he was paid, and how he was used. It was run of the mill for a player like that in the NFL. Every team has them, and they all treat them the same way until they either let them go or they blow up and become Danny Amendola.
Every NFL team does not re-sign that same run of the mill player.
He was signed to a $1.75 million contract in 2015 after missing 12 games. Got another contract in 2016.
Sorry. They invested in this flop.
He is a walking talking example of how this franchise has misevaluated its own talent and wasted resources.
I don't care that it was "cheap". Three or four of that kind equal one decent player.
I never cared that he got injured. That was the thing you people brought up to excuse his lack of performance. You’re actually making my earlier case for me. You don’t care about what he actually cost, or about his versatility as an inexpensive role player who wasn’t really used all that often.
You’re upset that he got injured and that he was talked up by the coaches like many utility players on just about every team.
I never cared that he got injured. That was the thing you people brought up to excuse his lack of performance.
I was upset he was an untalented player that this clueless group of talent evaluators thought was better than he was, actually carved out a role for that same player and signed several times.
To repeat, he is a living breathing example of how this organization has failed miserably in talent evaluation.
And in cases like you, how fans buy into the sell job.
