Mocking the WRs--post combine

Updated, out of the 43 so far, here is the tally:

Some mocks were updated and one dropped Miller. So both he and St Brown currently are at zero but have made appearances in the 1st round at one point after the combine...so I'll keep them listed.

A bunch of guys still haven't come out with their first post combine mock.
Some of the notable absences to be coming out soon are : Kiper, Casserly, Davis, and many more higher profile mocks.

In any case, there's still a couple of months to go, so plenty of tweaking to come.

Ateman and Chark have no right to be in the first... those people are reactionary to combine results. I have no problem with the other ones being in the first... but I think there are only 3 that will go in the first. Ridley, Sutton, Moore.
Kirk, Washington, Miller and Chark are round 2 at best.

I like Kirk a lot, he could sneak in to the 1st if NE or Philly wants him. But i think the depth of this class hurts their chances of that

Yeah, just one guy out of 43 had Ateman. probably a pet cat.
I even saw Pettis in the first in a couple of pre-combine mocks. Haven't seen him in the past week though, so he's not on the list with even a 0.

Have to say, Chark is intriguing. Certainly not at 19 though..

Roy Williams was a very good physical talent who had a couple of good years than mailed it in after getting paid.

Roy Wi11iams was a bum that was butt hurt over Fitzgerald being taken before him, then he didn't come close to being worth his draft spot so the lions took Calvin Johnson and fleeced Jerry for more picks that he couldn't live up to. Sutton is just a guy in the mold top WR. He'll be lucky to break 1,000 yards once in his career.

I work directly with a big Bears fan. He doesn't think any of the WR's are worth pick #8. He wants the Bears to trade down, if possible.

How big is he? 6-10, 400 ?

Roy WR Williams? None of them with the Cowboys.

That guy was a loser. I'm remember seeing him just constantly goofing off in training camp.

His stats suck with only one year over 1000 yards and only 2 with over 60 catches.

The updates are starting to come in on some of these mocks, so 2nd mock post-combine. So while the total number of mocks hasn't changed much, there are additions and subtractions due to updates. Ex. Sutton was dropped from the 1st round by a couple of analysts. Chark and Washington added 1 or 2. Moore lost one and added one.

Ridlyy finally was in a mock where he didn't make the first round. So 54 of 55
Gallup is starting show up some.
DJ Moore (a fav for some in the CowboyZone) is now in the first round in 15 of 55 mocks...so improving some.

I would not be surprised if Sutton is the first WR taken and goes to Chicago at 8th overall. He has more #1 WR traits then the other receivers and he showed he wasn't just some big and slow red zone target. He could be an Alshon Jeffery Clone.

The guy only averaged close to 22 yards per catch last season on a run-first offense with a very average QB, is 6-3, 200, 4.34 40, 40" vert., etc. Blew up the Senior Bowl & followed that up by blowing up the Combine. If the Boys pass him up, I hope a division foe doesn't grab him. He will make them pay twice a year for a long time.

Ridley's game is based on great routes and great play speed. He confirmed the play speed and lateral agility in his 3 cone. He's a guy that's going to win by running great routes and playing fast. To me the combine confirmed what we see in tape and how he wins.

Ridleys size worries me a bit and I'm also not a fan of his age either.

I'm telling you right now, people are sleeping on Michael Gallup. He can play and I think he has a decent chance to become a hell of a good WR in the NFL.
