IMO, Gronk would not be worth a 2. He was a great player for years, but he is a huge injury risk, not to mention he has considered retiring after the last two seasons.

Id trade a 2nd and it would be dependent on him playing 3 years. If he retires early, we'd swap a 3rd or their 2nd.

Either way, he's the best receiving tight end on top of it and he can out run lb era and some safeties.
Defenses wouldn't know what we're going to do when we go single back.

If I was confidant he would be healthy & play for 2 years I'd do it in a heartbeat.
But if he's not happy in NE how could he possibly be happy here? With Zeke as the focal point of this offense his opportunities would be fewer than in NE. I can't picture him wanting to come here.
