Good points, but the question is this: are you prepared to pay a “good quarterback” with elite QB money?

You have to overpay quarterbacks, unless you have Tom Brady or Aaron Rogers. The question is if the quarterback is good enough to win a Super Bowl with. Sometimes mediocre quarterbacks win, like Dilfer or Foles, but you should never try to build a team around them. I think Dak is good enough, you just need to construct your team a certain way if he is your quarterback. I think he can end up being better than the Eli Manning and Joe Flacco types, but probably will not be as good as the Rogers, Brees, Rothlisburger types of QBs. We will see.
