But he is a more natural CB
As for 5th year option, I think jury is still out
Gonna have to be a real ball hawk to justify the cost especially with the young kids being good looking players and much cheaper

Nobody has any idea what to do or how to build and execute a defense. 7 years.

I am really scared this will be a defense heavy draft and we will end up with the wrong guys yet again.

Instincts are so important
A few vets have made the transition but had years of experience to fall back on
It’s just so much different than covering a single guy or a zone

Kris likes to run the Cover 3 shell and press, disguised with Cover 1 looks.

For him, optimally this involves bigger CBs with some speed.

I think being the possible #2 behind Chido with Lewis as slot could be the best thing that's happened to him

Do you mean his patented, loving and caressing of the ball carrier to the ground?

He may be a freakish athlete and all-around good guy, but it took me about 1/2 of a regular season game to see that he was not a full-time safety.

This group should build a defense on free agents who are proven and over pay for the certainty that they can play in the league.

Then just keep drafting offensive players because they are good at it.
