Why hasn't Dez signed yet

Why does anything involving Dez matter anymore? I could careless if he ever signs anywhere ever again. If you want to follow him then hit him on his instagram!
But yet you have enough interest to respond here. Or did you just come on to bash others?

I'd say a combination... Too close to the draft and being that this is Dez's first time in free agency, he's also taking time to weigh his options.

As many here have said...Dez will likely land some kind of deal after the draft with a team that couldn't
find that cheaper WR in the draft. If he signs, it will be a 1 or 2 year prove it deal heavy in incentives just
like the deals we have been giving out to our signees. His agent will have a hard time driving up interest
this close to the draft though. Dez will play somewhere this year but, not where he wants to unless he
just wants to play at the league minimum.

They could have held him out of team workouts to prevent injury, and even so, they had to sign another receiver before deciding to let him go.

They can't keep a player under contract from the facilities or workouts. See Steve McNair.

At most they waited an extra 3 weeks, but really probably not even that long assuming reports are true that after signing Hurns the team tried to trade Dez and there were no takers.

So they waited three weeks.

Nobody’s gonna commit $$+years to Dez Bryant until after the draft.

I said i could careless what dez does. Did I make a Dez thread? No. And who on this forum have I bashed before? Delusional much!

I distinctly recall you thoroughly bashing this guy called... what was his name? Ah! @LegendaryLandry.
And let me tell you: that guy deserved it...

I don't believe for a minute that Dez is sifting through offers. I don't think teams are too busy to sign Dez. If we cut Zac Martin at noon he would have a visit or a contract by 5:00 even if the draft were tomorrow.

It appears that only one team has expressed interest in Dez (if that is even true) and that is purported to be the Ravens. Dez has been pretty vocal about being all butt hurt about being cut. You would also expect him to be talking about teams clammoring for his services if that were the case.

Teams will have more interest after draft and June 1st. He will catch on somewhere. He maybe waiting to see who offers and who plays Dallas this year.

According to Corso, they could have gone ahead and designated him as a June 1 cut, but just not received the cap relief until June 1. I could be wrong but if that's the case, I assume there would be no obligation to allow him to workout.

CORSO? Do you know if this is the case?
