I don't think J.Daniels is strong enough to excel at G

He excels in space and on the move, perfect as a C for a team that runs a zone scheme or a team that uses a lot of screens and gadget plays. If we want to throw up the white flag and go safe with guard at 19 I think Hernandez is the pick. You know what he is and he's about as safe a plug and play day 1 starter as you can get. With that said, I don't want a G at 19 and definitely not Daniels

I think a guard at two is doable, OR a tackle guard..I just want one we can stick out with smith that knows how to block for the zone, and keep pressure of of Dak..So he can shut the haters up..Last year was a joke..And the FO was the reason..They need to fix it and Shut up!

WE need a good one..To me its the key position in this draft..Yes i want to finish the defense, but it all starts with plugging the hole at guard...My take!

I think you can look back in a year or two and laugh because he's likely to get much bigger. He is only 20.

Look at Tyron now and look back at people saying he was too lightweight.

I think you’re getting a 6/10 Guard year 1 and a 8.5/10 after that. M.Martin is a 3/10 W.Hernandez a 7.5/10.

I can wear one mediocre year because I think he’s a stud after that.

IMO, it really comes down to what you want to do offensively.

Tom Landry used smaller, quicker OL who could pull and trap. Tony Dorsett was phenomenal in space, so they were constantly running traps, draws, and screens--all kinds of things to get Dorsett in space. In order to do that, you needed OL who could move.

Jimmy Johnson had Emmitt Smith who was phenomenal between the tackles. Johnson used big powerful OL, and attacked defenses that way.

EE was statistically same inside and outside last year. But we have huge OL who can pull, too. They have Trey Williams to play the scatback on third although EE is good on third downs. EE isn't as fast as Trey Williams though.
