I would guess LB, with WR or S in round 2, but trying to guess who we are going to take is almost always a crapshoot.

Marrinelli had the #8 ranked defense last season with a team full of rookie CBs and Jeff Heath as one of his safeties. He has not been given much to work with.

He had the chance to improve the defense in several ways , but he likes players like Hayden. The defense wasn't ranked 8th because of Marinelli. It was ranked 8th in spite of him. A young , innovative coach could improve the defense by installing a modern scheme.

Guys like Hayden are what he was given to work with, last I checked he is not in charge of signing FAs or the draft.
